The battle for the city of Aleppo is shaping to become a milestone in the Syrian conflict; its outcome will most likely determine the fate of the country, if not the Middle East, philosopher and anthropologist Vladimir Lepekhin, director of EurAsEc (The Eurasian Economic Community) Institute, wrote for RIA Novosti.

For the analyst, this is not merely a battle between Damascus-led forces and rebels, but rather a "standoff" between the Russian and US-led coalitions.

Saker’s recent article entitled “The counter-terrorist corrida opposing the West and Islam addressed the so-called “clash of civilizations” between Islam and “the West,” and efforts of ideologues like Zbigniew Brzezinski to help make it so.

Whenever I see mention of Brzezinski’s “The Grand Chessboard” or Samuel P. Huntington’s book “Clash of Civilizations”, it reminds me of watching an interesting episode of the Twilight Zone many years ago, titled “To Serve Man.”

This agency of military administration was created in the United States (US) for conducting operations to detect and destroy terrorists throughout the world. 43 year old  Nigel Wilkinson, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape and three counts of administering a substance with intent to rape at Bristol Crown Court.  Wilkinson met his victims on the social network before inviting them to his home for ‘male fitness’ photoshoots. Once there he would ply them with drink and drugs – including class C date rape drugs Flunitrazepam also known as Rohypnol, and Nitrazepam which renders them “senseless and incapable”.
