Norway Wants to Make Gas-Powered Cars Illegal by 2025

One country is making the move to ban sales of gasoline-powered vehicles.


According to a new report from Dagens Næringsliv, Norway’s four main political parties have come to an agreement on a new energy policy that would result in a ban of gasoline-powered car sales as early as 2025. Making the law even more interesting is the fact that Norway is currently one of the world’s largest oil exporters.

Skye Bank fires 200 Workers Despite FG Directive

Skye Bank has barely a day after the government issued a directive to banks to stop sacking workers, sacked around 200 Staff members.

Due to the state of the economy, a lot of banks had been sacking employees as a way to keep themselves stable. This has led to over 5000 jobs lost in less than 2 months. The government stepped in to intervene, directing that banks were to stop sacking staff members.

Senior lecturer at Unilorin resigns after his alleged sexual harassment audio went viral



According to Saharareporters, the audio clip led to his resignation. Dr. Mohamed Sani Idiagbon, the HOD of English, was allegedly caught in the act.  His victim, identified only as “Faith” by the Students’ Union President, is said to be a 200 level student of the department.


Faith had gone to hisoffice concerning a Continuous Assessment test she had missed, and the lecturer appears to have seized the opportunity to sexually harass her.
