Kwara asks police to uncover corps member’s killers
The Kwara State Government has urged the Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Garba Salihu, to redouble investigative efforts to fish out and prosecute the killers of a corps member, Miss Yetunde Idowu.

Taking after the revelation by Aderemi Opadokun, the Commissioner of Police in Borno State that a suicide bimber yelled "Sai Buhari" as against "allahu akbar" as he executed five individuals after he exploded an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

24 hours to the end of their tenure, members of the Nigerian Senate passed 46 bills in less than 10 minutes, a situation best described as a 'historic moment'. The Senators will be ending their tenure as tomorrow June 4th to give rise to the 8th National Assembly.
At today's plenary session, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Ita Enang, announced all 46 bills before the house and then Senate President, David Mark, immediately called for votes on all the 46. He gave consent to all the "Ayess" which resulted in a rowdy session as those who were against the manner in which the bills were passed voiced their objection. The Senate President however told the aggrieved Senators to come tomorrow for consideration.

A 25 year old Nigerian man identified as Austin Chukwuna died on Sunday May 31st after the hard drugs he was smuggling out of Indonesia burst inside his stomach.
According to Indonesian Police, Chukwuna had on Saturday May 30th lodged at a hotel close to the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Indonesia possibly with the intent of flying out with the drugs inside him, when he suddenly ran out of the hotel on Sunday morning, screaming.

Suicide Bomber Shouting 'Sai Buhari" Attacks Abattoir In Maiduguri, Borno
The Police in Borno said five persons passed on when a suicide bomber assaulted an abattoir in Maiduguri on Tuesday.
The Commissioner of Police in the State, Aderemi Opadokun, expressed this when he talked with writers in Maiduguri. Mr. Opadokun said the assault happened around 11.30 a.m.
“A suicide bomber, who was shouting “Sai Buhari”, and dancing in the abattoir, detonated Improvised Explosive Device strapped on his body when people had gathered around him. Five people, including himself, died, while eight others sustained injuries,” he said.Mr. Opadokun added that policemen were mobilised to the scene to empty the bodies and the pass on the harmed to the doctor's facility, including that examination concerning the impact was continuous.
