CAIRO — A Cairo criminal court sentenced ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi on Saturday to life in jail on charges of spying for Qatar.
The court heard the cases of 11 suspects. Six suspects, among them three journalists, were sentenced to death through hanging. Three others were tried in absentia.
