Sweet Kechi Okwuchi is among the two survivors of the Sosoliso plane crash that occurred in December 2005. This has been almost 9 years since the accident and although it's not been easy, Kechi is living her life and loving it through the mercy of God! Today, she marks a landmark, she's 25 year old! Palestinians May Take Measures If Resolution to End Occupation Not Adopted: Ambassador

Palestinians have considered alternative measures in the case that the Security Council fails to adopt a resolution defining time limits to end Israel's occupation, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Fayed Mustafa told RIA Novosti Wednesday.

"If we do not receive the approval of the majority [nine out of 15 Security Council members] needed, and the Security Council does not adopt the resolution, or the United States vetoes it, we will seek membership status in all the international organizations. This is the alternative measure that we have prepared ourselves for. There are more than 500 international organizations and treaties that we will gradually turn to, aiming to get the right for Palestine to join the United Nations. We will use membership in these international organizations to gain the right to create our Palestinian state," Mustafa said.

– UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday called for the cancellation of planned elections in southeastern Ukraine, his press service said.

"The Secretary-General deplores the planned holding by armed rebel groups in eastern Ukraine of their own 'elections' on 2 November, in breach of the constitution and national law," the statement said.
"These 'elections' will seriously undermine the Minsk Protocol and Memorandum, which need to be urgently implemented in full," the statement added.

I found out last  weekend that my brother's wife and mother of his two children is just a lesbian and I don't know how to proceed about this information. Should I tell my brother? Boko Haram Molested, Beat and Traumatised Us - Female Survivors Speak Out

A New report by Human Rights Watch reveals the damage done to girls and women abducted by Boko Haram .

Its report, Those Terrible Weeks in Their Camp: Boko Haram Violence Against Women and Girls in North-east Nigeria, is based on interviews with 30 women and girls abducted between April 2013 and April 2014, plus 16 people who witnessed kidnappings.

The women and girls were held in eight different camps for periods ranging from two days to three months, after being taken from their homes, while working on farms, fetching water or at school.
A 15-year-old girl who was held in a Boko Haram camp for four weeks in 2013 said....

President of Zambia, Michael Sata, passes on @77

President of Zambia, Michaal Sata has died at age 77. He died yesterday October 28th at the King Edward VII hospital in the United Kingdom after experiencing an undisclosed ailment.  Born July 6 1937, Mr Sata was elected Zambia's President in September 2011. He's survived by wife Christine and 20+ children. May his soul rest in peace, Amen

Boko Haram Submits The List Of terrorists To Be Traded For Chibok Girls

Representatives of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents may have submitted a list of its men it wants the Federal Government to release in exchange for the abducted school girls seized at the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in April, a Punch report said.   The process of verification of the status of the men on the list has also started, the report quoted a security source as saying.

This verification is to ascertain the state of health of the Boko Haram men.  The source, according to the report, claims that the on-going talks with representatives of the insurgents in the Chadian capital have witnessed great progress, claiming there had been other meetings at three different locations held in the spirit of the ongoing peace deal.

He dismissed fears that the insurgents may decide to back out of the negotiations because of recent confrontations with security forces.
