Ban Ki-moon Demands Establishment of Help Quest in Ebola-Hit Mali

After the World Health Organization declared that each of the six Ebola infection patients in Mali have kicked the bucket, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon requests UN help mission foundation.


UNITED NATIONS, November 22 – UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has requested  UN help mission to be made in Mali as fast as could reasonably be expected after the World Health Organization declared that each of the six Ebola infection patients in Mali have kicked the bucket.

“I have instructed the head of UNMEER [UN Mission for Ebola Emergency Response], Tony Banbury, to establish on an urgent basis a United Nations support mission in Mali,” Ban Ki-moon said Friday, adding that “the new chain of transmission in Mali is a cause of deep concern”.

The Secretary General focused on that the United Nations “will keep on scaing up our reaction until the last instance of Ebola is distinguished and treated”.

Prior on Friday, Ban Ki-moon advised news people that worldwide deliberations to stop the spread of Ebola are starting to work in West Africa, yet transmission rates are expanding in a few ranges.

As indicated by the World Health Organization (WHO), Ebola has contaminated more than 15,000 individuals in West Africa, of whom more than 5,000 have passed on, for the most part in the most exceedingly terrible influenced nations of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Misrepresenting the Involvement of Hunters in the Counter-terrorism Operations

All the flimsy and exaggerated claims of hunters’ exploits in the ongoing operations are simply intended to foster a mischievous campaign aimed at disparaging and depreciating the professional efforts of the Nigerian military at containing the terrorists especially in Adamawa. It is obvious that the intention is to ridicule and discourage the military.

We are not moved. While appreciating the effort of the hunters and citizens who have been supporting our troops in the onslaught, the military still remains in the vanguard of the mission to rid the nation of terrorists and their activities. We will remain focused and utilize only well-meaning support and advice in the ongoing campaign to wipe out terrorists.

Much as we are aware of the politicians who are promoting the campaign for whatever reasons, we will not be distracted by their antics. The result of present efforts will soon manifest for the whole world to see and Nigerians and their military will not be diminished, as intended by those engaging in the campaign of calumny against the Nigerian military.

We however caution Nigerians not to allow themselves to be hoodwinked into danger by some false reports on so called liberation of certain areas by ‘hunters’ as we can only vouch for areas where the military has reported cleared of terrorists.
