Nigerian lawyer Tunde Okewale makes GQ's World's Coolest men lis
30 year old Nigerian/British lawyer Tunde Okewale was included in GQ magazine's list of the 35 “coolest” men under 38 years old. Tunde, who comes in at number 33, was called to bar in 2007.
Tony Elumelu Foundation commits $100m to African Entrepreneurs
In his recent article in the Economist, Tony Elumelu declared that, “In 2015, the African entrepreneur will explode on to the global stage, as a new generation shows the world what those of us doing business in Africa have long known: that our continent is home to some of the most exciting and innovative entrepreneurial talent.”
At 11:00am, during a major press conference at Heirs Place today December 1sr, Mr. Elumelu announced the launch of The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP).

The daughter of ex-gov. had of Delta state James Ibori, Ms Erhiatake Ibori has won the PDP House of Assembly ticket for Ethiope West electorate.
Ms Ibori secured the party’s ticket amid the state PDP primaries which held this past Saturday November 29th. Different contenders for the ticket boycotted the primaries making her emerge the victor.

Iju/Agege has lost one of their own. Abdul Azeez Halidu famously known as Zee World passed on yesterday, November 30th, 2014 after a long fight with disease which affected his music profession for quite a while.
Zeeworld was known for his hit single Tentebo and worked with any semblance of Terry G, Reminisce, Skales, YQ among others before disease struck him down. His mother, Madam Halidu is said to have used over N4m singularly on him since a year ago that the fight started and she is said to be forlorn at the moment. Zee World was 34. Sun re o !

APC rules out Fashola as vice presidential candidate
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), has been ruled out as a running mate to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress anytime the candidate emerges, investigation by The PUNCH has revealed.
A highly placed source in the party, who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymity in Abuja on Sunday, said that Fashola’s religion had ruled him out of the race.
He said since it was almost certain that the party would field a Muslim as its presidential candidate, it would therefore be out of place to field another Muslim as the running mate.

Former-Egypt Leader Hosni Mubarak cleared of corruption & murder charges
Former Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak has been cleared of charges of corruption and killing of countless Egyptian protesters in a revolution that toppled him in 2011.
Mubarak ruled Egypt for 29 years. The 86-year-old Mubarak was convicted in 2012 of issuing orders to kill peaceful protesters through the country’s 2011 uprising and was sentenced to life in prison. He appealed and was granted a fresh trial last year.
Also acquitted were Mubarak’s former Interior Minister Habib el-Adly and six of el-Adly’s aides, who’d been accused to be attached to the deaths of 239 protesters as security forces cracked down to them in 2011. Mubarak’s two sons also were acquitted Saturday of corruption.
