Six groups of policemen who were declared absent after Boko Haram assaulted the Police Mobile Training College in Gwoza, Borno state on August twentieth 2014 have been remunerated with N500,000 each by the Force Headquarters.
At a service which held yesterday at the Police Mobile Force 50 Base, Kubwa Abuja, the wives of the missing warriors were introduced with checks and the police guaranteed to pay them the compensations of their missing spouses for one year.

Exactly by 9th of January 2015, it will marked 270 days, 9 months since the abduction of Cchibok girls in Chibok town, Borno state. With just about 37 days to election, it is becoming hopeless by the day that Chibok girls ill be released sooner nor later.
Campaigns and election matters will soon over dominate the whole news in Nigeria and indeed the world. The much discussed 2015 is undoubtedly going to be a great test on Nigeria and indeed for Africa’s democracy, and indeed security.
The level of hopelessness in Nigerians is also increasing by the day. Nigerians must rise beyond the politics of tribal and religion. Uprightness, capacity to deliver on the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians is a one good reason why Nigerians must converge even if it is for the first time to rescue this land once called Niger area.
Under normal circumstances, Chibok girls should have graduated if that incident did not occurred. Some of them could have been in the university by now. Some of them could have been married with babies by now. Some of them could have started a legitimate business by now. But as God will have, all those dreams are gone now.
Nigerians must remain in prayers for a better Nigeria, put all their commitment for a free, fair and credible elections come 2015.

Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima has depicted the pioneer of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau as a Lunatic who does not deserve any respect.
Gov. Shettima said this while speaking with state house correspondence after a emergency security meeting between the North Eastern governors, security boss and President Jonathan at the state house earlier today.
“Shekau is a lunatic. He is a deranged element. He is not somebody anybody should give any molecule of respect. His actions are beneath the act of even an animal, believe me. I’m an eternal optimist and I am passionate too for that matter, that we shall have enduring peace very soon with the very robust frame work on ground. We don’t want to mention a date or anything but I believe our military is arising to the challenges of the time. Our military will robustly respond to the challenges, I believe. Like I said earlier, I’m an eternal optimist; we have to hope for the best against whatever odds” he said
The senator said a few territories in Borno state are partially in the control of Boko Haram yet says he is hopeful that the state would surmount the difficulties .
“There are some local governments that are partially under the control of the insurgents and there are some that are largely under our control. I really don’t want to bolster Boko Haram by quoting numbers and figures because these lunatics feast on the oxygen of publicity. The more publicity they get, the happier they become. I don’t want to give them that luxury. But I want to assure you that with 1,000 years of recorded history, Borno shall rise again in spite of all the challenges, believe me Insha Allah.” he said
