How We Defeated PDP- The strategist, Tinubu
Former Governor of Lagos State and one of APC’s National leaders, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday at the public presentation of the book “Dynamics of Change: The Amaechi Years”, has attributed the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan in the last presidential election to a commonsense revolution anchored on a rebellion against the excesses of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He also further said it was fast-tracked by President Jonathan’s mishandling of the Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF crisis. While commenting on the book after Professor Wole Soyinka commended him and the River State governor for their efforts in ensuring change in the country, Tinubu said;
“Amaechi is an example of common sense revolution. In the course of the historic campaigns for the 2015 Presidential Election, I was emphatic that the election itself was a great opportunity to popularise and test the noble idea of a Common Sense Revolution in Nigeria. Soon enough, we found in the resonance of the APC Change mantra with the electorate a confirmation that Nigeria needed a Common Sense Revolution that is non-violent.
“Indeed there is a publication with that title authored by me in which I argued that Nigeria was ripe for a change of leadership and Nigerians must act in a Common Sense and rational way in choosing their leaders. The results of the March Presidential elections and that of April have demonstrated clearly the desire by Nigerians for change.”

Dere's God oh ! Graduates get paid as low as ₦6,000 in Nigeria?
Folakemi Odoaje uncovered on twitter that a graduate working in a non-public school in Ibadan makes N6,000 as salary. Not certain on the off chance that she’s talking about herself but rather she said the graduate accepted the employment in the wake of squandering so much cash requisitioning better paying jobs. Folakemi said this while reacting to Senator-elect, Ben Murray-Bruce’s tweet that the slightest any staff of his association, Silverbird gathering, gets as compensation before assessment is N25,000. The question now is, the lowest pay permitted by law arrangement does not apply to private organizations? (That reminds me of the Lebanese boss that was paying bellow minimum wage and still has the gods to kick a pregnant woman in her stomach, you all remember the story ?) See more tweets bellow.
Video: Africa Rejects ICC
The ICC is the KKK of international law. After years and years of only prosecuting Africans, many African nations have decided to pull out of the ICC and fund their own continental criminal court. This sends a sign to the US and EU that says that African nations will no longer tolerate imperialism where law is concerned.
African is beginning to grow up politically. I support this until the 2 Bushes are taken to the ICC and jailed. What about you ?

Burundi coup leaders nabbed
Three armed force officers who were a piece of a gathering that endeavored to topple Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza a couple of days earlier have been captured.
Previous Burundi Defense pastor Gen Cyrille Ndayirukiye was one of the three captured today. Yet, the general who drove the upset and made the declaration on radio, Gen Godefroid Niyombare (pictured left) has not been found.
The General had before told AFP News Agency on telephone yesterday that he and other people who plotted the coup will surrender however trusted they won’t be killed.”I trust they won’t kill us”. He said.
President Nkurunziza, who returned back to Burundi yesterday from Tanzania is relied upon to make a national address later today. Clearly, he has more individuals faithful to him in the armed force than the commanders.
4 years after creating poverty & misery by bombing Africa, NATO sings for Africa ('We Are The World')
NATO: ‘We Are The World’
How appropriate to their outsized egos and ambitions that the foreign ministers of NATO countries joined arms and hands to sing an impromptu rendition of the 1980s aid to Africa fundraiser song “We Are The World” yesterday at a military alliance meeting in Turkey.
The song was originally recorded to raise funds to provide some relief to those suffering famine in Africa.
But what a cruel and revealing irony that those impoverished in Africa these days come from places like Libya, which was bombed by the very same NATO in the name of “liberation” in 2011.
NATO’s “We Are The World” in that case becomes a rather menacing song, suggesting its expansionist ambitions and perhaps that there are no hiding places from NATO bombs.
