The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has commenced an investigation into the administration of Delta State former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan over allegations bordering on money laundering, fraud, abuse of office and theft to the tune of over N900bn.
Nigerian Pilot on Saturday Investigations revealed that a team of operatives attached to the Economic Governance Unit of the commission was entrusted with the responsibility of looking into the account books of the Delta State Government under Uduaghan led administration for eight years.

Armed Robbers Write Lagos Communities, Demand ₦30 Million

Residents of Ajao Estate on Airport Road, Lekki Phase 1 and Ikosi GRA, Lagos are no longer sleeping with their two eyes closed, since they received a letter from suspected armed robbers, who advised them to organize the sum of N30 million and keep for them.
The letter was dated June 30th 2015 and is unsigned. It was pasted at the gates of private homes of three residents of the affected communities.

South Africa returns seized $15 million to Nigerian government

The government of South Africa has reportedly returned $15 million to the Nigerian government.
The South African border authorities had on September 5, 2014 seized $9.3 million meant for the procurement of arms for the Nigerian military, from two Nigerians and an Israeli who arrived the country in a private jet.

Buhari wants to imprison Jonathan – N'Delta group

A civil rights organisation, Vanguards of Nigeria’s Democracy, on Saturday raised the alarm over clandestine moves by President Muhammadu Buhari to “investigate, malign and imprison” former President Goodluck Jonathan on trumped-up charges.

The VND specifically accused the President and his All Progressives Congress-led administration of “unsavoury and patently repugnant action,” which it said, were anti-Niger Delta and against the Ijaw ethnic nationality.

This fur coat was recently unveiled at a Fendi runway show by fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld - and Fendi said the coat will cost 'up to one million euros.' It's called the Sable coat and there's only one in the world - and it's the most expensive fur coat ever retailed.


Why does it cost so much? It's made from a species of marten that is found primarily in the forests of Russia and Siberia, and is unique because it retains its smoothness whichever way it is stroked and is considered the most beautiful and richly-tinted pelt among martens. Sad ! Lady involved in horrific trailer accident in Warri has lost one leg

Earlier this week, I told y'all about a horrific accident that occurred on Monday July 13 at Udu Road, Warri involving a bullion van on the wrong side of traffic and the trailer that hit and crushed a lady's legs. Sadly, she's lost one leg, and the doctors are struggling to save the second one.

She's currently at DELSUTH, Oghara and in need of funds. The bank where this bullion van was going has refused to help out. Some legal practitioners in Udu are on it, and an organization, Center for the Vulnerable and under-privileged area also involved.

Singer Jeremih gets arrested for DUI on his birthday

R&B star Jeremih rang in his birthday by getting arrested early Friday morning in the Valley. The singer who just turned 28 on Friday was pulled over by California Highway Patrol around 2:15 AM and booked for misdemeanor DUI. Seems like he was out celebrating his birthday early and ended up spending the rest of the night behind bars. Bail was set at $15k, and he was released around 11 AM on Friday.

Singer Omawumi has given birth to her second child - a baby boy. Omawumi welcomed her bundle of joy in the early hours of today in a hospital in the US. Mother and son are said to be doing great. This is the second child for Omawumi and her husband, Tosin Yusuf. Big congrats to them.
