18 year old girl tries to commit suicide after boyfriend dumped her (photos)

This 18 year old girl (pictured above in hospital) drank half a bottle of sniper (a popular insecticide) after her boyfriend, pictured above with her, ended their relationship. According to Aisha Yesufu who shared the story on twitter, she said the young girl is currently on admission and that doctors say her heart has now been affected by the poisonous substance. If you want to join the UK Metropolitan police now, you must be able to speak a second language in addition to English - at least one out of 14 languages and Yoruba is one of them. The police say this is because 300 languages are spoken in London

Scotland Yard has come under fire today after placing an advert demanding that anyone wanting to join as a police officer be able to speak a second language. The Metropolitan Police wants to bolster the number of officers able to speak and understand 14 languages which are widely used across London. But the move has sparked criticism from a former officer and members of the public on Twitter.

Lionel Messi, the star of FC Barcelona and Argentina, has been taking part on Saturday, alongside the president of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, in a service to open the Port-Gentil stadium, which will host games at the African Cup of Nations in 2017.

The function occurred in Port-Gentil, which is the second city in Gabon and the nation’s oil capital.

Amid his visit, Leo Messi signed various autographs before getting in an auto to make a short, typical excursion around the stadium with Ali Bongo Ondimba.

“When I was in Barcelona a few years ago, I saw Messi and he said he would come to visit me in Libreville,” the president of Gabon explained.
“It was a promise which he made to me. He is a man of honour, one who has kept his word. The calendar worked out well and it has corresponded with the laying of the first stone,” the Gabonese leader added.

In 2012, Gabon hosted the African Cup of Nations together with Equatorial Guinea, who then hosted the tournament alone in 2015.

Graphic photos: Dozens confirmed dead & Scores injured after explosion Rock Turkish town

26 have been affirmed dead and more than 50 individuals harmed after an immense blast in the Turkish town of Suruc close to the Syrian outskirt early today. An hour ago. The blast focused Kurdish young people and western volunteers in a Kurdish cultural centre. The young people were giving a press  session with respect to the reconstruction of Kobane before the blast went off. The photographs above were taken just before the impact. See more pics bellow.
