59 men, women and children were rescued from Boko Haram captivity after troops of 151 Task Force Battalion launched an attack on the sect members camp in Kashingeri, Wale and Kushingari villages in Borno state today July 30th. A Landrover vehicle and a Tipper were recovered from the sect members after the operation. In a related development, troops of 21 Brigade and members of the Nigerian Army Engineers yesterday July 29th cleared a notorious terrorists camp at Chuogori and Shantumari, in Borno. 2 Men Slumped And Died While a Third Man Goes Blind After Eating Fish at Ebonyi

Two men slumped and died after allegedly eating a fresh fish in Ezillo community, Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State Vanguard reports that another person who allegedly consumed the fish also became blind. The species of the fish is said to be forbidden in that community. One Mr. Alieze was said to have hired the men to do some construction work. Mrs. Odoh Onyinyechi , a witness said the men went on break after working for a while. They went to a stream and harvested the forbidden fish. “A man from our community went to the town and brought people to work for him. The people later went to the stream to fetch water and came back with some fishes. The men reportedly died after eating the fish was considered forbidden in the community while a third man lost his sight and has been declared permanently blind.

In newly-released photos, Gisele and her younger sister are pictured stepping out of car outside a plastic surgeon's office in Paris on July 15, both of them dressed in burqas. Unfortunately her identity is given away by the presence of her longtime driver.

Gisele was at the plastic surgeon's office reportedly to have an eye and breast surgery. And just a day before she went there, she was seen somewhere else in Paris with the same driver. Boko Haram terrorist reportedly slit the throats of 10 fishermen in villages near Baga

Boko Haram members on Monday July 27th raided some villages near the town of Baga in Borno state, slitting the throat of 10 fishermen and destroying their properties.Speaking to AFP today, Abubakar Gamandi, head of the fishermen's union in Borno State said,
“On Monday around 4 pm, Boko Haram attacked three villages on the shores of Lake. Chad where they slaughtered 10 people, all of them fishermen,”

The report was further confirmed by a local fisherman, Buhari Dan-Malam.

These are supposedly African Christians in Tripoli, Libya, who converted to Islam and joined ISIS in Libya. ISIS released the photos on social media. The men don't look like they willingly joined ISIS though. Looks like they told them "join ISIS or die!". More photos after the jump. 

Gen Olukolade removed as Director of Defence Information

General Chris Olukolade has been replaced as the Director of Defence Information. According to a statement from the Nigerian Army, Colonel Rabe Abubakar will take over from him in Acting capacity. Gen Olukolade became DFI in March 2013.
