Ever Wonder How a Nuclear Plant Makes low-cost and efficient Electricity ? (Video)

Ever wonder how a nuclear plant like Watts Bar makes low-cost electricity? The heat created by nuclear fission is captured and used to create steam. The steam is used to turn a series of large turbines connected to a huge electric generator. How huge? At any moment, a single unit’s generator is producing all of the power needed for 650,000 homes and businesses with no greenhouse or carbon emissions. With both units operational, that’s 2,300 megawatts which is electricity for 1.3 million homes.

‘Have you any Common Sense?’ – Putin Crushes BBC Journalist’s Stupid Questions

Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans In Ukraine Attack African Fans Of Their Own Club (Video)

They cherished the same game and supported the same club however kindred fans assaulted them as a result of the colour of their skin. It is shameful how in this day and age some sport fans could be so nauseating and bigot. Common sense would propose that regardless of the possibility that you are racist against African people, it’s ideal not to show off your inclinations at a broadcast ballgame where there are such a large number of cameras rolling.

Be that as it may, obviously prejudice is still regular, while sound judgment is NOT, in a few sections of Eastern Europe. Amid a Champions League match between Dynamo Kiev and Chelsea on October 20 in Ukraine, four African folks were targeted on and thrashed by others devotees of the same club they all supported.

This implies Dynamo Kiev fans beat up a cluster of other Dynamo Kiev fans on the grounds that they were Africans. It wasn’t only one group targeting on them either. Wherever the quartet went they kept running into fierce Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans. A few others did attempt to protect them yet they were far and few between.

It’s simply tragic that these kind of disdainful forces are permitted to exist within the Beautiful Game. Football-related accepted racism by Dynamo fans is just the same old thing new. Last season the club paid a fine and was requested to close some portion of its stadium where the Ultras sit as discipline for their supporters’ provocation of the visisting Evertonians.

UEFA needs to descend overwhelming on Dynamo since it’s a rehash offense. In the main time, the club has an obligation to identify and serve life bans to each one of the individuals who were included in the loathsome episode above.

UEFA has in the past banned clubs for failing to agree to its money related regulations. Maybe, it’s time it likewise announces racism as an issue worth banning clubs for. Perhaps then just Dynamo will spring enthusiastically and free itself of its Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans like people over in Britain did in the ’80s.

Zara Clothing  Tycoon, Amancio Ortega overthrows Bill Gates as the richest man in the world - Forbes

Spanish clothing magnate Amancio Ortega, 79, over took Microsoft founder Bill Gates for the first time ever in the Forbes rich list. According to Forbes’s real-time tracker, the elusive multibillionaire founder of European clothing retailer Zara smashed past Bill Gates to become the wealthiest person on the planet, with a fortune of $79.8 billion (€71.83 billion or £51.84 billion). Bill Gates’ estimated net worth is $79.5bn as of this afternoon. He’s expected to take back his top position from Ortega.

The elusive Ortega isn’t as much of a household name as Gates, but he’s quietly ascended the wealth rankings in recent years, as his company continues to perform well and expand.

Unlike many of the richest people in the world, Ortega has a fascinating rags-to-riches story. Born in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War, Ortega’s father earned 300 pesetas a month, a meager salary.  Ortega’s biographer described his memories of a childhood during which his family could not always afford enough food. He left school in his early teens, working his way up from the absolute bottom rung as a messenger boy in a shop.

It wasn’t until he was 40 years old that Ortega got around to setting up Zara, the fast-fashion retailer that has gone from strength to strength — first growing in Spain, then neighbouring Portugal and France, then London. Now it’s all over the globe.

According to Forbes, Ortega’s wealth rose by 5.3%, another $4 billion, over the last 24 hours. That’s partly down to a surge in Inditex shares, the parent company that owns Zara.

In the last 10 years, the market value of Inditex has risen by about 570%, the main driver of Ortega’s climb up the ranks.

n an odd turn of events, Ortega hasMario Draghi to thank for his new rank — the head of the European Central Bank’s hints that the ECB would boost its quantitative-easing programme on Thursday sent shares in the eurozone surging upwards.

I Haven’t Found The Right Man – Genevieve

Most up to date motion picture maker in town, Genevieve Nnaji, talks with CHUX OHAI about her new film and plans for what’s to come

At a time many  motion picture fans in Africa are thinking about whether she has given it up with film acting, celebrated performing artist, Genevieve Nnaji, simply declared the arrival of her own movie after what appears like a long rest from the lighted screen.

Titled ‘Street to Yesterday’, the film is delivered by the performing artist – funded straight from her own pocket with extra backing from AfricanMagic, as she claims in a meeting with our journalist. Be that as it may, it is written and coordinated by Ishaya Bak

Explaining why it has taken her a long time to join the growing ranks of new generation movie producers in the country, Genevieve says, “I chose to be an actress. Acting was what I had always wanted to do. I don’t think that I ever imagined myself producing a film. I love acting. If the Nigerian movie industry was as stable as it should be, I probably would have been on the set of a movie every day of my life and not be bothered about what goes on behind the camera. So it is a matter of choice and preference.”

Genevieve plays the lead role in ‘Road to Yesterday’ alongside Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel. Chioma Omeruah, Ebele Okaro and Oris Ehuero, among others featured in the movie.

Apart from Majid and Ebele, most of the actors and actresses are not part of the regular Nollywood crowd. Genevieve tells our correspondent that the departure from the ‘old’ crowd is deliberate.

She says, “It is part of our effort to open up Nollywood to more newcomers and to create opportunities for people who are very talented and who have the passion for this job. This is why we have somebody like Ishaya Bako in the team.”

But to the disappointment of those who have for long expected Genevieve to choose a life partner and finally walk down the aisle, marriage does not seem to be in her agenda yet. Asked when she would finally take the plunge, the actress replies that contrary to speculations, she has not ruled out marriage. But that she would make up her mind as soon as she meets the right person.

“I haven’t found the right man yet. When he comes, I’ll get married,” she says.

Hillary Clinton grilled 11 Hours Over Benghazi Attack

Hillary Clinton stood her ground through a grueling 11 hours of questioning over the 2012 Benghazi attacks, parrying Republican blows at a high-stakes congressional hearing that could impact her bid for the White House.
Partisan fireworks exploded repeatedly between Republican and Democrat members of the House Select Committee on Benghazi during the marathon grilling that at times took on the character of an interrogation.
