Bomb The Living Dead: Iraq Okays Russian Airstrikes against SISIL

As Russian airstrikes push ISIL terrorists from Syria into Iraq, Moscow and Baghdad agreed to hit the militants in Iraq, said Hakem al-Zameli, the head of the Iraqi Parliament’s National Security and Defense Commission, according to Fars News Agency.

ISIL militants aren’t going to find a safe haven from Russian airstrikes in Iraq after the country’s parliament gave Russia the green light to conduct airstrikes against ISIL targets in Iraq.

“Iraq agreed with Russia, which leads the joint data center, to hit the ISIL militants heading from Syria into Iraq,” al-Zameli said, highlighting the fact that the move would also cut off ISIL supply routes from Iraq into Syria, as cited by Fars.

The approval comes amid security coordination between the governments of Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria — all of which seek to destroy ISIL. The four nations launched the Baghdad Information Center to coordinate their military actions against the terrorists both in Syria and Iraq.

On September 30, Russia launched precision airstrikes against ISIL targets in Syria bordering Iraq following a request from Syrian President Bashar Assad. Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said earlier that Baghdad had not requested similar assistance.

The Russian military operation has been widely praised by Iraqi Shiites. For instance, the members of the Shi’ite Badr Organization have claimed they would “strongly welcome” both air attacks conducted by Russians in Iraq and an increasing role of Russia in the entire Middle East region, as the US’ approach to fight with ISIL militants is “not serious.”

Immediately following Russia’s airstrike campaign in Syria, Russian and Iraqi officials left open the possibility of expanding Russia’s anti-terrorist airstrikes from Syria into Iraq. Earlier this month, Iraq Prime Minister Haider Abadi said he would welcome Russian airstrikes against ISIL positions in his country if the Russian military succeeded in Syria.

New Profile Of An APC Leader - Femi Aribisala.

Many monuments have been built in honour of the man Bola Tinubu. He is acclaimed as the political genius of our times who not only engineered the taming of the PDP juggernaut, he caged it and confined it to the backwaters of Otuoke. Since the APC defeat of the PDP in the presidential election, Tinubu the tactician has been feted, celebrated and praised to high heavens. But all these encomiums have proved to be highly exaggerated.

"Magun" (Thunderbolt) Allegedly Kills Prophet After Sleeping With Friend's Wife

A white piece of clothing church prophet in a suburb of Lagos, ‘Woli Adesoji’, supposedly met his untimely demise amid s*x with the wife of his dear companion and a senior in the congregation.

It was accumulated that the ‘Woli’, was actually ousted from another church where he was a prophet after he was nabbed with a member’s wife and he later opened his own congregation and appeared to proceed in his indulgence.

Being the pioneer of the congregation, Adesoji had a free rule and laid down with any lady he considered fit, both wedded and single, particularly the individuals who looked for fruits of the womb or spouses.

According to a church member “It was a thing of shame when Prophet Adesoji, a married man with several children, died while making love to another man’s wife. And the woman is married to an elder in the church.

We all know Woli to be very randy and had been suspected by many but since he was the founder of the church, no one could confront him. It seemed the woman’s husband had planted ‘magun’ (a Yoruba voodoo meant to prevent a woman from committing adu!tery), on his wife and behold, it was Woli that was caught in the trap.

He died in a very shameful way in his private room in the church. The woman has since fled the area while church members have been trying to come to terms with the ugly incident.”

Pro-Biafra Campaign Championed By Ignorant Youths – Previous Head of State, Gowon

Previous Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (retd.), has dismissed any potential threat to Nigeria’s proceeded with corporate presence as an aftereffect of the exercises of some professional Biafra groups.

General Gowon, who was in charge of undertakings of the country when the Nigerian common war broke out in 1967, noticed that Nigerians have put behind them the terrible recollections of the three year bleeding struggle, including that those behind the protests were adolescents who have no clue what the war cost Nigerians.

He, however, said he wished he could meet with the pro-Biafra secessionists to counsel them on the dangers of beating the drums of war, adding that “if there’s anything of the sort, anywhere in any part of the country, just like the Boko Haram issue, Nigeria should deal with it in a mature way”.

The elder statesman stated this in Lafia, the Nasarwa State capital shortly after a malaria eradication campaign visit to Governor Tanko Al-Makura.

Gowon further opined that pro-Biafra campaign was being driven by just a few people and that the generality of the Igbo people do not share the view.

While admitting that the protesters had the right to express their feelings, Gowon stated “with Biafra, it is finished”.

Ever Wonder How a Nuclear Plant Makes low-cost and efficient Electricity ? (Video)

Ever wonder how a nuclear plant like Watts Bar makes low-cost electricity? The heat created by nuclear fission is captured and used to create steam. The steam is used to turn a series of large turbines connected to a huge electric generator. How huge? At any moment, a single unit’s generator is producing all of the power needed for 650,000 homes and businesses with no greenhouse or carbon emissions. With both units operational, that’s 2,300 megawatts which is electricity for 1.3 million homes.

‘Have you any Common Sense?’ – Putin Crushes BBC Journalist’s Stupid Questions

Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans In Ukraine Attack African Fans Of Their Own Club (Video)

They cherished the same game and supported the same club however kindred fans assaulted them as a result of the colour of their skin. It is shameful how in this day and age some sport fans could be so nauseating and bigot. Common sense would propose that regardless of the possibility that you are racist against African people, it’s ideal not to show off your inclinations at a broadcast ballgame where there are such a large number of cameras rolling.

Be that as it may, obviously prejudice is still regular, while sound judgment is NOT, in a few sections of Eastern Europe. Amid a Champions League match between Dynamo Kiev and Chelsea on October 20 in Ukraine, four African folks were targeted on and thrashed by others devotees of the same club they all supported.

This implies Dynamo Kiev fans beat up a cluster of other Dynamo Kiev fans on the grounds that they were Africans. It wasn’t only one group targeting on them either. Wherever the quartet went they kept running into fierce Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans. A few others did attempt to protect them yet they were far and few between.

It’s simply tragic that these kind of disdainful forces are permitted to exist within the Beautiful Game. Football-related accepted racism by Dynamo fans is just the same old thing new. Last season the club paid a fine and was requested to close some portion of its stadium where the Ultras sit as discipline for their supporters’ provocation of the visisting Evertonians.

UEFA needs to descend overwhelming on Dynamo since it’s a rehash offense. In the main time, the club has an obligation to identify and serve life bans to each one of the individuals who were included in the loathsome episode above.

UEFA has in the past banned clubs for failing to agree to its money related regulations. Maybe, it’s time it likewise announces racism as an issue worth banning clubs for. Perhaps then just Dynamo will spring enthusiastically and free itself of its Right Wing Nationalist and Racist Football Fans like people over in Britain did in the ’80s.

Zara Clothing  Tycoon, Amancio Ortega overthrows Bill Gates as the richest man in the world - Forbes

Spanish clothing magnate Amancio Ortega, 79, over took Microsoft founder Bill Gates for the first time ever in the Forbes rich list. According to Forbes’s real-time tracker, the elusive multibillionaire founder of European clothing retailer Zara smashed past Bill Gates to become the wealthiest person on the planet, with a fortune of $79.8 billion (€71.83 billion or £51.84 billion). Bill Gates’ estimated net worth is $79.5bn as of this afternoon. He’s expected to take back his top position from Ortega.

The elusive Ortega isn’t as much of a household name as Gates, but he’s quietly ascended the wealth rankings in recent years, as his company continues to perform well and expand.

Unlike many of the richest people in the world, Ortega has a fascinating rags-to-riches story. Born in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War, Ortega’s father earned 300 pesetas a month, a meager salary.  Ortega’s biographer described his memories of a childhood during which his family could not always afford enough food. He left school in his early teens, working his way up from the absolute bottom rung as a messenger boy in a shop.

It wasn’t until he was 40 years old that Ortega got around to setting up Zara, the fast-fashion retailer that has gone from strength to strength — first growing in Spain, then neighbouring Portugal and France, then London. Now it’s all over the globe.

According to Forbes, Ortega’s wealth rose by 5.3%, another $4 billion, over the last 24 hours. That’s partly down to a surge in Inditex shares, the parent company that owns Zara.

In the last 10 years, the market value of Inditex has risen by about 570%, the main driver of Ortega’s climb up the ranks.

n an odd turn of events, Ortega hasMario Draghi to thank for his new rank — the head of the European Central Bank’s hints that the ECB would boost its quantitative-easing programme on Thursday sent shares in the eurozone surging upwards.

I Haven’t Found The Right Man – Genevieve

Most up to date motion picture maker in town, Genevieve Nnaji, talks with CHUX OHAI about her new film and plans for what’s to come

At a time many  motion picture fans in Africa are thinking about whether she has given it up with film acting, celebrated performing artist, Genevieve Nnaji, simply declared the arrival of her own movie after what appears like a long rest from the lighted screen.

Titled ‘Street to Yesterday’, the film is delivered by the performing artist – funded straight from her own pocket with extra backing from AfricanMagic, as she claims in a meeting with our journalist. Be that as it may, it is written and coordinated by Ishaya Bak

Explaining why it has taken her a long time to join the growing ranks of new generation movie producers in the country, Genevieve says, “I chose to be an actress. Acting was what I had always wanted to do. I don’t think that I ever imagined myself producing a film. I love acting. If the Nigerian movie industry was as stable as it should be, I probably would have been on the set of a movie every day of my life and not be bothered about what goes on behind the camera. So it is a matter of choice and preference.”

Genevieve plays the lead role in ‘Road to Yesterday’ alongside Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel. Chioma Omeruah, Ebele Okaro and Oris Ehuero, among others featured in the movie.

Apart from Majid and Ebele, most of the actors and actresses are not part of the regular Nollywood crowd. Genevieve tells our correspondent that the departure from the ‘old’ crowd is deliberate.

She says, “It is part of our effort to open up Nollywood to more newcomers and to create opportunities for people who are very talented and who have the passion for this job. This is why we have somebody like Ishaya Bako in the team.”

But to the disappointment of those who have for long expected Genevieve to choose a life partner and finally walk down the aisle, marriage does not seem to be in her agenda yet. Asked when she would finally take the plunge, the actress replies that contrary to speculations, she has not ruled out marriage. But that she would make up her mind as soon as she meets the right person.

“I haven’t found the right man yet. When he comes, I’ll get married,” she says.

How Market Leadership Tussle Demotes Akure’s Eze Ndigbo

UNTIL last week, the Eze Ndigbo of Akure, Gregory Iloehike was a man about town. He used to go about in Akure, the Ondo state capital with all the paraphernalia of a traditional ruler and served as the voice of the Igbo in the metropolis. But his over bloated ego of many years was deflated when he reportedly “ disrespected the town’s monarch’’ by uttering uncomplimentary remarks to the Deji of Akureland, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo, who invited him to the palace in Akure to find a lasting solution to a leadership tussle in a popular market in the ancient town.

Jonathan’s Critics Should Move On – Aide

A former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has advised critics of the past government to desist from castigating the policies of the immediate past government.
Omokri, who stated this on his official Twitter handle on Thursday, said since the elections were over, politicians must build “rapprochement and reconciliation” rather than encourage bitterness.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has moved on. He will be leading Commonwealth observers next week. Haters and critics should also move on.

Hillary Clinton grilled 11 Hours Over Benghazi Attack

Hillary Clinton stood her ground through a grueling 11 hours of questioning over the 2012 Benghazi attacks, parrying Republican blows at a high-stakes congressional hearing that could impact her bid for the White House.
Partisan fireworks exploded repeatedly between Republican and Democrat members of the House Select Committee on Benghazi during the marathon grilling that at times took on the character of an interrogation.
But the Democratic frontrunner for president was relentlessly composed as she accused her rivals of exploiting the deadly attacks in Libya — which came under her watch as secretary of state — for political gain.
