9 Reasons Why Nigerian Polytechnics Are Better Than Universities

This is a counter thread to the thread: 9 Reasons Why Nigerian Universities are Better than Polytechnic: www.nairaland.com/2954796/9-reasons-why-nigerian-universities

Here are my own 9 Reasons why Nigerian Polytechnics are Better than Universities.

1. Easy of study: The polytechnic system is split into two programs; two years National Diploma (ND) and two years Higher National Diploma(HND) programs. Splitting the two program offers many people the chance to follow a step by step approach to education unlike the four or five year course duration in the university which is quite long and tiring. I have a boss, who after obtaining his ND, went to hustle, became an established CEO with what he has lent and came back for HND 7 years after.

Week twenty of the Russian military intervention in Syria: a ceasefire and yet another huge victory for Russia

This article was written for the Unz Review: http://www.unz.com/tsaker/russian-american-agreement-on-syria/

The recent agreement between the USA and Russia really solves nothing, it does not even end the war, and both sides are expressing a great deal of caution about its future implementation.  And yet, this is a huge victory for Russia.  While it is too early to say that “the Russian won in Syria”, I think that it is now fair to say that the Russian position on Syria has won.  Here is why:

First: nobody is suggesting anymore that Assad will be ousted or Damascus taken.  That, in turn, means that everybody has now recognized that Syrian Arab Republic, backed by Russia, has successfully repelled the aggression of the huge coalition the AngloZionists built to overthrow Assad.

Now Kerry Says If Ceasefire Fails He May Partition Syria

See one of the reasons mnay people dislike these politicians with passion, instead of using common sense, this is what got Nigeria mad the other time, that some crooks sat down thousand miles away from Liberia and were deciding the fate of the country. It's the reason Nigeria sent Soldiers to defend the Liberian rebel installed by U.S back in the day and when the bidding to loot the country got terrible, Clinton ordered Charles tailor to step down. It was when they decided to support the opposition forces Charles tailor suppressed that Nigeria stepped in to restore order in Liberia and this why most Liberians love Nigerians even more than any country I have been too.

Now Kerry Says If Ceasefire Fails He May Partition Syria
why?
Because, you know, God made him the owner of Syria

That's Western 'nation-building' and international law for you

"We love Nevada," Trump said during his brief victory speech at his party in Las Vegas late Tuesday night. "We will be celebrating for a long time tonight."

Turkey is screwed. And it’s all US fault (corrected text)

Amid rising tensions between Turkey and Russia over the situation in Syria, one important fact got lost. It’s not Russia that caused the current Turkish problems. It was the USA.

The most fundamental problem modern Turkey is facing is the Kurdish question. It’s a chronic problem, which threatens the integrity of Turkey and the Turkish elite perceives it as the largest security treat the country is facing. Turkish policies in Syria are determined by the Kurdish issue more than anything else. The change from the so called policy of zero problems with neighbors, which Erdogan and his government used to promote, came as a surprise to many and is directly related to the Kurdish issue and the events in Iraq after the disastrous US invasion.
