Waiting for Yalta – 2, or What the Kerry-Lavrov pact brings to the table, by Scott

I have been getting questions about Ukraine, and what’s next… Either people don’t read my posts, or they ignore everything I write. I could keep writing the same thing, but it’s gets boring and I want to finish writing a very interesting book. A month ago I mentioned that Washingtonian neo cons’ Ukro project is done, and that the US and EU abandoned it and returned it to Russia, warts and all. It doesn’t matter anymore how this fascist cesspool is getting fermented, what bubbles up and what startling noises it produces. It’s going to continue its contained fermentation for some time until Russia decides that time is up and starts clearing it all out. Mutants in Kiev have lost their big sponsors in Washington, and the EU tries to distant itself. The war that Junta’s military have forced on Donbass will change nothing, but the fate of those war criminals involved .

They will never be Russians

by Rostislav Ischenko
Translated by Seva
There were two news items last week: an attack by Nazi goons on Vasily Volga, who is trying to promote in Ukraine a left-wing pseudo-opposition project integrated into the regime, and of similar attack on a group of former members of the Regions Party, who tried to organize in Kharkov a pseudo-opposition event as a part of the centrist pro-peace and pro-European project already integrated with the regime. For some reason, the victims are called pro-Russian politicians.

China and Russia prepare for a hot war with Eurangloland

The 2nd World War, History And Remembrance

by Peter Lavelle for The Duran
The political abuse of history to deny the Soviet Union’s decisive contribution to the defeat of Nazi Germany is dividing peoples and is serving to rehabilitate European fascism.
As the 71st anniversary of fascism’s demise in Europe approaches, history is being re-cast, particularly events before, during, and after World War II. This history is being reinterpreted and even rewritten in a number of post-Soviet and Eastern European states. This approach often undermines, or even denies, the role the Soviet Union (its peoples and soldiers) played in the defeat of Nazi Germany. This has less to do with historical knowledge than it does with scoring cheap geopolitical points in the present at Russia’s expense.
