Hero: Lt Mayowa Areago shot Killed by B'Haram
A Nigerian army officer Lt Mayowa Areago, was shot dead three days ago while retreating from the mission to fight the Boko Haram in Borno state. Based on his friends who submitted his photos, he graduated from Nigerian Defence Academy in 2012 and was immediately posted to the North to simply help in the fight against Boko Haram.
“Please help us appeal to the government to give our military the right weapons to defend this nation. A lot of innocent people have died to defend you and I. I really want all Nigerians to celebrate this young, gallant, combatant Nigerian Army officer. Rest in the bossom of the Lord “Area”‘ a friend said

Photos: President GEJ unveils new ₦100 notes
The brand new N100 note made to commemorate Nigeria’s 100 years of amalgamation was unveiled by President Jonathan today Nov. 12th at their state house during the Federal Executive Council meeting.
While presenting the notes to other members of the Council, the president said it was a laudable gesture by the CBN to make the notes which will serve as an indication of Nigeria’s centenary celebration. Speaking on the brand new notes, Central Bank governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele said the notes is likely to be in circulation from December 2014
