Presidency refutes MURIC's allegation of Jewish symbol on 100 Naira note
Presidential spokesman Reuben Abati, has reacted to criticisms leveled against President Jonathan by the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, over an alleged Jewish sign on the yet to be released N100 notes. The Director of MURIC in a statement said that Pres. Jonathan was attempting to turn Nigeria into a Zion state through the introduction of a Jewish sign on the yet to be introduced N100 centenary commemoration note. CAN President tells Sultan of Sokoto to write B'haram to stop bombing
The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has called on the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, to compose a letter to members of Boko Haram to prevent their attacks just like he did to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Pastor Oritsejafor made the decision today at a 2-day meeting in Abuja with Senior Special Assistants on Religious Affairs to all or any state governors.
“His Eminence said he wrote a letter to ISIS, I have to truly congratulate you for that because that was a very good move. I didn’t know about it until today and I am so glad it happened. But I want to appeal that you also write to Boko Haram because Boko Haram is worst than ISIS.
They have killed more people than ISIS, they have caused more atrocities than ISIS; they need to be written to as well, it is very important it will help. I have made an appeal several times that there are some of our leaders who must come together, religious, political and traditional. They must come and discuss.’’ he said

Zaaki Azzay welcomes 4th child as new wife gives birth to baby boy
Famous singer, Zaaki Azzay and his new wife, Hembadoon, have welcomed their first child together, a boy. Hembadoon gave birth to their first child together on Sunday November 23rd at the Federal Staff Hospital, Jabi Abuja.
Zaaki and Hembadoon got married in May this year after his marriage to first wife and mother of his three children, Hadiza Anyamikegh collapsed 2 yrs ago. Hadiza who walked out of the marriage 2 yrs ago following allegations of domestic violence, said she’s congratulated her ex on the birth of his son.
“I am happy for Zaaki. I’ve congratulated him on his new bundle of joy. His children- Mimi, Didoo are really jumping and happy for their new baby. May the new born child never see rejection in Jesus name. And may he grow in the house of the Lord, Amen” Hadiza told Encomium magazine in a telephone chat
