This is the condition of Douglas Road - a federal road in Owerri, Imo state. It's been transformed into a refuse dump and individuals stroll around it like it's nothing. Can't the legislature make a move?

Lagos Speaker visits woman whose hubby absconded after she gave birth to their 3rd set of twins

The speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Hon Mudashiru Obasa yesterday July 5th paid a visit to the Agege, Lagos home of Mrs Ruth Uche, the woman whose husband, Mr Citizen Emeka Uche, fled their home after learning they were expecting their third set of twins. The speaker visited the woman with gift items, foodstuff and cash. He is pictured above with Mrs Uche, & her 6 children

Graphic Images: Accident on a bridge before Benin...

As indicated by observers, this deadly accident happened on the bridge on the Benin-Lagos Bypass. It was brought on by a white Mark head trailer who ran immediately the mischance happened. The Bus was a Toyota Hiace belonging to Oni Line, and was heading from Lagos. A significant number of the travelers were truly harmed while one individual was confirmed dead at the scene. Tragic! Lagos planning to reconstruct Ladipo market road – Govt

The Lagos State Government on Sunday indicated plans to reconstruct the popular Ladipo Auto Spare Parts Market Road and other connecting roads to enhance vehicular movement within the areas.

Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Bamgbose Martins, said this when he led government officials on inspection of some road networks in the Papa Ajao and Ladipo Spare Parts Market areas in Mushin and Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Areas of the state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has nothing to do with the reported police’s invitation of Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, over which the PDP has released an outlandish statement containing all sorts of imaginary claims.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it neither wrote a petition to the police nor is it aware that any petition was written against the Deputy Senate President.
