Late model Reeva Steenkamp's mother June Steenkamp said Reeva confided in her before she was shot dead on Val's day 2013 that she'd never had s3x with Oscar Pistorius.

Photos: 3 kidnap buildings demolished in Anambra state

 Anambra state government over the last few weeks have demolished 3 buildings located at Aguleri and Umuleri, Anambra East LGA, which they say were used to keep kidnap victims.

The buildings include a four room bungalow at Ararite Aguleri owned by a man from Umuobanam but used by his caretaker, one Jude Onu from Imo State and his gang. Other kidnap gangs were said to have used the building as hideout while negotiating for ransom.

Another building which belonged to late businessman Ozoemena Egwuatu but was used by his nephew, one Ejima Nwandu for kidnap activities, was demolished at Umuatulu, Umurueri.

The government said they've embarked on the demolition and arrest of kidnappers in a bid to ensure a  crime-free yuletide season in the state. See more pics after the jump

B'Haram eliminates 4 Nigerian refugees in Cameroon

Four Nigerians taking refuge in a village in the far north of Cameroon have already been killed by members of Boko Haram during an attack that took place on Friday October 24th.

In accordance with a statement made available today to AFP, the Cameroonian Ministry of Defence said the sect members attacked "the village of Glawi,  killing four Nigerian refugees and wounding one Camerounian, before being pushed back by defence forces which pursued them.

Baze University Student Union Leader Murdered By Friend Over N7m Loan

A student union leader at Baze University, Abuja, Awwal Umar, has been murdered by his friend, Abdullahi Bello, and a spiritualist, Lawal Saleh, over N7m the deceased lent to Bello. Bello was said to have lured Umar, 26, who just got married, to Katsina State, where he was attacked and killed by some hoodlums who hid in a bush to carry out the dastardly act. Parading the two suspects on Thursday in Abuja, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu, explained that Bello masterminded the murder after he could not pay back the N7m loan he got from Umar. According to him, Bello had earlier asked the spiritualist to hypnotise Umar to forget the money, but the charm did not work, as the student kept pestering him for his money.

Massive Corruption Going On Under Jonathan, Okonjo-Iweala’s watch – Amaechi

Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, has accused the President Goodluck Jonathan-led federal government of massive corruption. Amaechi spoke yesterday ahead of Saturday’s mega rally at the new Adokiye Amaesiamaka Stadium at Igwurutali. According to him, no line of difference exists between funds meant for the public and those for private pockets.
