Based on an story released yesterday by music star OmoAkin’s management, they claimed he was attacked by some animals at Owu Resort and is receiving treatment at the Peninsula Hospital (If you missed the story, read here)
Well, the management of the resort have reacted and they say it’s 100% false. They’ve released a statement saying no-one was injured at their resort & which they even went so far as Peninsula Hospital to test if OmoAkin was there, he wasn’t! See their statement bellow.
A barman, Simeon Tenebe, who works in a resort around Ojodu, Lagos was badly injured during an unprovoked attack with a customer who stabbed him with a jar when he was allegedly starring at the client and his girlfriend who he came to drink with.
According to Punch, Kelvin Friday and his girlfriend, were chilling out in the hotel around 6pm on October 21, when it happened. The victim, claimed he was contemplating something he’d discussed together with his sister earlier in your day when the client came as much as him, saying he was rudely starring at them and smashed his head with the bottle of beer he was drinking…
The consumer, Kelvin initially complained of Simeon’s customer care once they first stepped to the hotel. Kelvin later then complained Simeon was rudely starring and challenged him to fight of which point he attacked with a jar, seriously. His girlfriend fled the scene when Simeon started bleeding.
Kelvin Friday has since been arrested and has been charged before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for assault

Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members yesterday night November 2nd attacked Koton-Karfi federal prison in Kogi state, freeing 144 inmates. One inmate was reportedly killed during the jail break. The Koton-Karfi prison authorities later said 12 inmates that escaped the jail break have now been re-arrested.
