The MTV Staying Alive Foundation and MTV Base have uncovered that they are making another season of Shuga.


The honor winning s3x and connections dramatization and mixed media fight, now in its fourth season, will commence in Nigeria in right on time 2015, in partnership with NACA, PEPFAR, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The launch, which held yesterday, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Villa Medici Restaurant had visitors from the media, music and film businesses. See the pics after the cut..

A 6-week-old baby named Noah Pearson (pictured above), suffocated to death in his sleep after being deprived of oxygen while sleeping in between his parent in bed at their home in Bradford, in West Yorkshire.
According to the UK Telegraph, Noah's parents, Paul Pearson 24 and Emily Lambert 22, had left him with his grandmother while they went out with friends for drinks for the first time in a year. They returned at about 3.30am the following day drunk but still took their baby from the grandmother...

 In a new interview with Encomium magazine, afrobeat singer, songwriter and saxophonist Seun Kuti, who has said many times that he doesn't believe in marriage, said one of the reasons marriages no longer last in Nigeria is because women are no longer submissive. Read below & tell us if you agree

"I don't believe in marriage. The truth is, the marriage institution in Nigeria has collapsed. Nobody is getting married for long anymore. On the average, it's within a year. Although they still marry, they separate. The thing responsible for it is that people get married for the wrong reasons. As a matter of fact, the institution of marriage is fading away in the traditional sense of marriage - for love; for better or worse; and all sort. It's fading because women are no longer submissive.

Abigail Olufunmilayo Thomas was born on 25 October 1900, in Abeokuta. She attended the Abeokuta Grammar school for secondary education, and later went to England for further studies. She soon returned to Nigeria and became a teacher. On 20 January 1925, she married the Reverend Israel Oludotun Ransome Kuti. He also defended the commoners of his country, and was one of the founders of both the Nigerian Union of Teachers and of the Nigerian Union of Students.

Gunmen Snatch Governor Sule Lamido Official Vehicle In Jigawa State.

Unidentified gunmen, yesterday snatched one of the official vehicles attached to the governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido.

The incident was confirmed in Dutse, the state capital by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdu Jinjiri. He said the Jigawa State police command received the news that “at exactly 9pm a Toyata Land cruiser V8 driven by one Auwalu Mohammed was snatched at gunpoint by unidentified robbers.”
