Like a scene from a Nollywood home video, a 57 year-old man essentially recognized as Valentine, abandoned his spouse to be at the registry and took to his heels amid a marriage enlistment service during the weekend at the Oredo Local Government Council marriage registry in Benin, Edo state.
It was gathered that the groom purportedly abandoned the marriage customs when he located his wife of 17 years who stormed the venue to disrupt the marriage.
Sources near to the group of Mr. Valentine uncovered to columnists in Benin that the runaway man of the hour had in the past approached marriage registry in a few courts in an alternate areas in Delta state where he was said to furtively contracted an alternate marriage.
He was said to have perfected arrangements to formalize his relationship furtively with his most recent darling when on the said day, he welcomed few of his trusted companions to witness the event.
Data about the course of action of the new marriage was said to have spilled to his first wife who had four kids for him, and she along these lines activated other ladies who stormed the venue to disturb the administration of marital vow.
The troubled wife was said to have described to the befuddled swarm that her spouse surrendered his obligations to the family since he got included with his new life partner, including that, few endeavors to spare the marriage did not yield the craving results.
“I had to do this because I’m convinced my husband must have been bewitched by the lady because since the rumour began making rounds he has stopped taking care of his four children.
