Following 63 days in the Big Brother house, Tayo Faniran, first runner and Nigerian housemate as of late returned home and was invited with all the ceremony befitting a free wheeler.


Multichoice Nigeria arranged him a homecoming gathering which happened at the prevalent Covalounge, in Victoria Island, Lagos. Talking with the media in a matter of seconds before his gathering, Tayo said he was stunned when Idris Sultan of Tanzania was proclaimed the champ of the reality show.

“I was truly stunned when IK proclaimed Idris the victor. I really thought I would win, or at any rate be proclaimed a co-victor! Regardless I’m unimaginably thankful for the one of a kind open door and introduction Big Brother has provided for me.”

Left are the two cops who were shot dead yesterday December twentieth while they sat in the checked squad car in New York.

They are as of late married Wenjian Liu (top) and father-of-one Rafael Ramos (beneath) , and right is the man who shot them dead. He’s been distinguished as 28 year-old Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley, from Baltimore.

Ismaaiyl had shot and injured his sweetheart on Saturday morning before facing the cops in an evident demonstration of reprisal for Eric Garner’s demise based on what he composed on his instagram page (read story here).

Around 2.47pm yesterday evening, Ismaaiyl crawled up behind a watch auto in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood and from the traveler side of the police van, he shot both men in the head execution style. Observers said the cops didn’t get an opportunity to draw their own firearms and didn’t see their attacker. After the shooting, Ismaaiyl strolled to a metro station and murdered himself.

PDP Governors, Senators, Business big shots, technocrats and others gathered at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja yesterday night December twentieth to raise money to help President Jonathan’s re-race battles.

At the gathering pledges dinner, 21 PDP Governors gave N50million each which came to N1.05billion. Entrepreneurs in the Oil and Gas segment gave N5billion while their partners in the Real Estate & Building made a gift of N4billion.

Players in the Transport and Aviation area made a vow of N1billion, those in Agriculture gave N500million while those in the power sector promised N500m. Leading group of the Shelter Development Limited gave N250million while players in the Construction part swore N310million. Road Construction players swore N250million while the National Automative Association vowed N450million. The Chairman of the fund raisingdinner, Mr Tunde Ayeni made a gift of N2billion while the Chairman of SIFAX gathering gave 100million. The Rivers state PDP Chapter gave N50million.

Africa’s Richest man, Aliko Dangote who was the made the Chief Fund Raiser was missing at the occasion as he is said to be out of Nigeria yet his delegate, Joseph Makanju guaranteed that the business head honcho would make his gift known once he arrives Nigeria.

With all the monies declared at the fund raising dinner and additionally those from private people, a sum of N21.27bn was raised

President Jonathan subsequently thanked everybody who gave and guaranteed that their gifts would not be futile.

NYC police officers shot dead by black man as revenge for Eric Garner & Mike Brown

I was hoping a day like this will never come, when citizens will take laws into their hands and start shooting police officers because of what their colleagues did to Mike Brown and 'I can't breath', Eric Garner, but it looks like the day has finally come.

Two uniformed NYPD police officers were shot dead execution style today September 20th while they sat in their police car on a Brooklyn street corner and investigators believe they were killed to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown because of what the killer wrote on instagram hours before committing the murders.
