US Baby Fatally Shoots own Mom at Store

A two year-old little child incidentally shot and slaughtered his mother in the US state of Idaho.

LAGOS, December 31 (Ooduarere) — A two year-old little child has incidentally shot and slaughtered his mother in a Walmart store in the US state of Idaho, the Sherrif’s Office said on its Facebook page.

“Preliminary investigation shows that the female was shopping with her two-year old son and other family members. Her son was seated in the shopping cart and accessed the victim’s concealed weapon from her purse and discharged it, striking the victim,” the Kootenai County Sherrif’s Office’s Facebook post shared late on Tuesday, read.

The lady, recognized as Veronica Rutledge, 29, was discovered dead on the scene by the appointees.

Northern Farmers To Raise N5b For Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Campaign

A gathering of yam agriculturists all over some northern states in the nation have swore to backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari’s campaign in the 2015 general elections  with N5 billion. The gathering revealed this in an announcement made accessible to NAN in Jos on Today.


Rev. Jacob Musa, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the agriculturists under the name “Buhari-Osinbajo Presidential Appeal Campaign Fund (BOPCAF), said that ranchers from 10 states of the region were arranging the fund raiser.

Nigeria to increase import tariff on Tokunbo cars from 22% to 70% from January 1, 2015

As from first of January 2015, costs of imported  used autos also known as Tokunbo or second-hand autos are relied upon to go up as the second period of the national auto policy which was announced in November 2013, will start.


Auto merchants would be required to pay the national government 70% obligation on all foreign made autos. FG had in 2013 presented the national auto policy with the perspective of empowering local assembling of cars in Nigeria, increasing the import duty from 22% to 70%. The primary period of the arrangement including the installment of 35% obligation became effective in February 2014 while the second stage which would have begun in July this year was put off to Jan. 2015.

21 Years Old Cultist Stabbed His Father To Death With A Scissors While He Slept

 The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 22-year-old Oluwaropo Tifase, for allegedly killing his father, Moses Tifase, in the Mile 2 area of the state. It was learnt that Oluwaropo, who is the fifth child and only son of the family, had had clashes with his parents in the past over financial issues.

According to the police, Oluwaropo, a suspected cultist, was rusticated from a university in Ondo State, a few years ago for some cult-related offences.
It was gathered that 75-year-old Moses, a retired mechanical engineer, was stabbed to death in the neck with a pair of scissors.

A previous Head of State and the Presidential competitor of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 general election , Maj.gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has told the Independent National Electoral Commission that his academic qualifications and accreditations are with the military.
