Former Enyimba football star Romanus Orjinta found dead at his home in Enugu
Previous Enyimba defender, Romanus Orjinta was discovered dead at his home in Enugu on New Year’s Eve, December 31st. The reason for his passing is yet obscure.
Until his demise, the 33yr old previous central defender was a mentor and had won the CAF Champions class for Enyimba football club in 2003. Details later.

Optometrists Advise Women Against Indiscriminate Use Of Artificial Eyelashes
Some optometrists have advised women against indiscriminate use of artificial eyelashes during the festive period to avoid damage to the cornea.
The optometrists, in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, also advised women to patronize experts, if they must wear the lashes.
NAN reports that the use of eye lashes has taken root in the Nigerian fashion scene, especially during festive periods.
A Consultant Optometrist, Eniola Ajayi, said: “If one must wear eye lashes, you have to follow the laid down procedures as approved by professional anesthesiologists”.

34 year old snake handler, Jamie Guarino, recorded his 14 month old girl, Alyssa, playing with their family pet, a 10 year old 13ft Burmese python called Nay-Nay.
This Python is one of the five biggest snakes on the planet. The snake handler said he taped the video with his child at their home in Michigan to teach individuals about snakes and how safe they can be.
