Men of the Imo state Police area command on early today defused two bombs planted near to the Imo state INEC secretariat in Owerri the state capital.
As indicated by reports, the bombs were planted before the Owerri Capital Development Agency OCDA and were found after a boisterous noise radiated from that zone at around 9.30am today. Policemen are said to have cordoned off the area.
Afrojuju maestro Shina Peters’ wife over 3 decades, Sammie Peters, is apparently down with cancer disease.

Biu town in Borno state was assaulted by Boko Haram terrorists toward the beginning of today.
Luckily, the military had the capacity to repulse the assault and execute/capture numerous activists. See the horrifying photo bellow. So somebody in Malaysia simply sent in this video/screen grab. They assert it demonstrates the beating of a Nigerian man by some Malaysian hooligans.
They said, yet don’t know whether this is genuine, that the Nigerian is into web misrepresentation business over there and when the young men got him, they took him to this building, bound his hands, legs, secured his mouth with tape and beat him with sticks and cut his back. They didn’t say if the fellow kicked the bucket from the beating…and cutting! The horrific video has been deleted from youtube due to youtube’s Ethics!

Lagos state gov. Babatunde Fashola earlier today visited the segment of Balogun market that was gutted by fire yesterday January twelfth.
While sympathizing with the ownes, the Gov Fashola exhorted them to insure their properties so that in circumstances, for example, a fire outbreak, their insurance company would cover their misfortunes.

A suicide bimber this nighttime exploded himself after a fizzled endeavor to assault a military Checkpoint in the Kasuwar Mata zone of Gombe state.
As per inhabitants of the territory, the suicide bomber went via a bike and was approaching some military men positioned at a stop and search area around 6.30pm when the bomb strapped on him exploded, eviscerating his body. Inhabitants were said to have assembled his remaining parts and set it ablaze.
14 individuals have been captured in Jos over the burning of two buses belonging to president Jonathan’s campaign group. The men were captured by the Special Task Force (STF).
The Media and Information Officer of the STF, Ikedichi Iweha, told the media that the men will be investigated after which those discovered to be honest will be discharged. The police have cautioned that demonstrations of vandalism won’t go on without serious consequences, and individuals who take part in wilderness will be captured.
