Lucy Tonge was 13 when she developed narcolepsy after having the Pandemrix jab. She is appealing against the rejection of her compensation claim.

When Lucy Tonge started drifting off in front of the television as a 13-year-old, her parents put it down to typical teenage lethargy. And when she developed a strange habit of slumping forward when she laughed, her mum told her: “Stop doing that stupid thing when you laugh. It makes you look silly.” But she couldn’t.

At the meeting, the governors called on the Federal government to a setup a bailout plan for the states that have not been able to pay civil servants their salaries for many months. Tyga and his underage girlfriend Kylie Jenner were pulled over by police as they headed to Disneyland to attend North's birthday on Sunday. According to TMZ, the police stopped Tyga for going 82 on the freeway - that's 17 MPH over the speed limit. Tyga was let off with a warning but got 2 citations - one for tinted windows and the second for driving without plates. Both are fix-it tickets.

10 months after, 27 police officers missing in Gwoza “not dead” - IG

Twenty seven police officers who went missing after Boko Haram terrorists seized Gwoza in Borno State in August, 2014, may still be found after 10 months, as the Nigerian government believes they are not dead, the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, said on Tuesday.

Buhari’s cabinet

It will be an outright understatement for anyone to say in clear terms that Nigerians expect a great change and turnaround from the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. In actual fact, since the inauguration of the new government and the President’s inaugural speech on May 29, 2015, Buhari has not been able to give the nation a clear-cut blueprint of how and what to expect from his government, since the members of his cabinet have not been constituted, for Nigerians to assess the calibre of hands and characters he has chosen to lead the nation out of the woes of economic management.
