The Lagos State Police Command paraded the two German shepherd dogs yesterday at its headquarters in Ikeja, Punch reports. Am I the only one who finds this weird? Anyway, the little victim, Omo, had asked that the dogs be killed but the police say it's up to the courts. Meanwhile the owner of the dogs, Stanley Wesley, was arrested and arraigned in court for negligence but has since been granted bail."We have brought the dogs out so that the public would know that they are still in police custody. They have been examined and they show no negative trait. It is only the court that will decide what happens to them. The police cannot decide to kill the dogs.”
