Ebola: 10th Sierra Leonean doctor lost the battle.

A specialist from Sierra Leone has passed on from Ebola, making him the tenth doctor in the nation to have kicked the bucket from the feared infection.

Dr. Brima Kargbo, Sierra Leone’s boss restorative officer, said Dr. Aiah Solomon Konoyeima kicked the bucket of Ebola on Saturday Dec. sixth. Details of how and where the specialist got to be tainted are not known.


Of the 11 Sierra Leonean specialists tainted with the ailment, one and only has survived.


Konoyeima who tried positive for Ebola 2 weeks back, worked at a youngsters’ healing facility in Freetown, Sierra Leone’s capital. He was generally treated at the Hastings Ebola Treatment Center, which is staffed only by neighborhood Sierra Leonean therapeutic faculty, before he passed away.


The World Health Organization (WHO) set a 60-day objective on October 1 to confine 70% of Ebola patients in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone and guarantee safe entombments for 70% of bodies, which are exceptionally irresistible.


At the same time in Sierra Leone, just 60% of patients were in segregation by December 1, said Palo Conteh, leader of the legislature’s National Ebola Response Center.
