A man has been charged for being in ownership of 589 permanent voter cards. The 29-year-old man Animashaun Lukmon, was charged under the watchful eye of a justice’s court, sitting in Ikeja, on Monday, December 15, for unlawful ownership of the Pvc’s.
As indicated by the police prosecutor, Inspector Edet Okoi, Lukmon perpetrated the wrongdoing on November 20, at Itire Primary School in Lagos. The police asserted that Lukmon was in possession of 589 bits of permanent voter cards fitting in with different individuals and some INEC records.
The charge sheet reads partially:
“That you, Animashaun Lukmon, at Itire Primary School, in the Lagos magisterial district, was unlawfully in possession of 589 pieces of permanent voter cards belonging to various people.”
The charged, Lukmon, on the other hand, argued not blameworthy guilty to the acclaimed charges and was admitted to bail by the Magistrate, Mrs Dan Oni
