There were broad reports online today that the Oba of Benin, Oba Erediuwa had passed on at age 92.
The Benin Council of Chiefs through its secretary Frank Irabor has however exposed the reports. As per Mr Irabor, the gossipy tidbits have been available for use now for over a year.
