Maid who kidnapped Orekoya kids has been nabbed, family claims they paid a ransom

23 year old Mary Akinloye, the house keeper who abducted the three Orekoya kids has been captured.

Talking on Channels TV at the beginning of today, the Lagos state Police Commissioner, Kayode Aderanti, said she was captured yesterday night however did not say where she was captured. In the mean time, Senior Apostle Abraham Adekunle, the maternal granddad of the Orekoya kids, asserts a payoff was paid for the arrival of his grandchildren.

“For the eight days that the children were taken away, we did not rest. But yesterday (Monday), they called us and said we should send the money to them. They sent their account number to us. Immediately they collected the money, they called us and said they had dropped the children at Egbeda.” he told Punch
