5) Gulfoss, Iceland
Gulfoss is located within the canyon of Hvítá river in southwest Iceland. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the entire country. The falls take a sharp turn into a crevice, which is hidden at first, making it appear as if the water is disappearing into the earth.
6) Helmcken Falls, British Columbia Canada
Helmcken Falls is 141 meters tall, and is located on the Murtle River in Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. The falls are named after John Sebastian Helmcken, a physician who never had the opportunity to see the falls for himself.
