Sympathisers Throng Olu Falae’s Akure Residence, Offer Prayers

The Akure residence of kidnapped former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Olu Falae, along Oba Ile Road, wore a sorrowful look on Tuesday, attracting important personalities and sympathisers.
Among the visitors was the leader of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti, who sat beside Mr. Falae’s wife, Rachael, consoling her repeatedly.

When PREMIUM TIMES visited, the visitors were seen discussing in hush tones the issue at hand, obviously expressing disgust and lamentations.
Rachael, who remained quiet for most of the time, intermittently broke her silence to pick calls on her phone.
After a while, the sympathisers thought it was necessary to resort to heavenly intervention and began to make intense intercession for Mr. Falae.
Led in prayers by a clergy, the people prayed for the quick release of the septuagenarian and urged the Almighty to come to the aid of the family.
A member of the family said comments on the matter had been halted as efforts were underway to secure his release.
