DSS Searches Governor Mimiko Of Ondo State's Plane

In a commando like operation, as seen in movies, the plane conveying Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State to Port- Harcourt enroute to Bayelsa State was searched by men of the DSS. The stern looking men of the DSS swooped on the plane as soon as it landed at the Port-Harcourt Airport. The DSS men searched the plane, and even "physically" searched the Governor, his security details and aides.



Governor Olusegun Mimiko is in Bayelsa State to show his support for Bayelsa State Counterpart, Governor Seriake Dickson in the upcoming Bayelsa State Supplementary Election on Saturday. When Queried on why they were subjecting a duly elected Governor of the Federal Republic, who is under immunity, the Dss men responded thus: Order From Above. .

After searching the Plane and discovered nothing of incriminating nature, they just walked away in embarassment.
