Awka- THE national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye has called for understanding of Nigerians in the face of the current hardship, saying that Nigeria is not as hopeless as some people think. Addressing reporters in Awka yesterday, Oye observed that with the measures being taken by government, things would soon get better. He said: “Every problem has an expiry date.
I believe that before the end of this year, things will begin to normalize. What the government is trying to do is to cut wastes and Nigerians are beginning to see the result going by the savings already made. “Nigerians can see that the federal government has the courage to do semblance of what is right and what is happening in the country shows that there is no hiding place for any corrupt politician.
“We should also appreciate the fact that God chose President Muhammadu Buhari for Nigeria and he has a purpose for doing that.” According to him, many Nigerians do not know Buhari well, adding that from what he knew about the president, he has a good vision for the country.
Oye also spoke on his party, APGA, saying that his vision as the national chairman is to make the party a global brand. He added that with measures being put in place by the national leadership of the party, APGA would be a party to beat during the 2019 general elections.
