Saraki, Orubebe ‘meet’ At CCT (PHOTO)

Senate President Bukola Saraki and Godsday Orubebe, former minister of Niger Delta affairs, are both at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) at present.

Orubebe arrived a few minutes before the senate president, who sauntered into the courtroom at 10:03am.

Both personalities are facing charges at the CCT for alleged false declaration of assets.

While Saraki is facing a 13-count charge of false declaration of assets, Orubebe is facing a one-count charge of the same alleged offence.

TheCable saw Saraki having a chat with the former minister, who sat in front of him.

It is uncertain which of the trials will commence first. And Danladi Umar, chairman of the CCT, is yet to sit as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, at least four senators accompanied the senate president to the CCT.

Orubebe tossed himself into national reckoning when he tried to disrupt the collation of the 2015 presidential results in Abuja
