The Kwara State Police Command have arrested Saidi and Idris Amadu, who have confessed to killing a woman, Rohimat Kehinde, and a girl, Fasilat Azeez, to implicate their eldest brother, Ayodele, over a family inheritance, Punchng reports.
They said they were angry at their late father for giving Ayodele 40 cows and gave them 10 cows each as their own inheritance. They added that they, in company of a fleeing suspect, Quadri Ayodele, killed the victims and pulled their corpses close to the residence of Ayodele to implicate him. .
Ayodele — on the discovery of the corpses near his house — was arrested, charged to court and remanded in prison custody. The late woman’s husband, Kehinde Babatunde, reported to the police that the assailants had murdered his wife and Azeez.
Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Samuel Okaula, said, “On interrogation, the suspects confessed that they both conspired to commit the crime in order to implicate their eldest brother, Ayodele Amadu and that he is innocent of the crime.” .
Another suspect, Segun Bamidele ( pictured above with a human head), was paraded for beheading a farmer, Sunday Owolabi, in Omu-Aran. Bamidele beheaded Owolabi in his farm and took his head to a herbalist for sale. He said he acted under the influence of alcohol.
