Should Christians Celebrate The Halloween? Or Is It Against The Bible?

Is participating in Halloween a sin? The association of Halloween with ghosts, goblins, and witches, all of which are not godly means that Halloween is not something I should take part in. In the past I used the “I just want the candy” excuse, and I don’t think attending Halloween events has affected my Christianity. But is that true? By choosing to do something that I know isn’t godly, I’m sinning and sin always distances you from God.

Drama! ATM Destroyed With Bare Hands By Chinese Woman Because It Didn't Dispense


At one time or another (especially if you live in Nigeria) I bet you have felt that indescribable frustration of attempting to withdraw money from an ATM only to find out that it’s out of service.

A 28-year-old Chinese woman named Lin, felt the exact same way. Only in her case, she got so angry that she literally destroyed the ATM with her bare hands.

Graphic mages: Man cut into two at railway crossing line in Ibadan

 This horrific scene happened around 5.30pm today at the railway crossing area in Bodija Ojurin in Ibadan. A man was found dead cut in two on the railway tracks. Ebola Claims 300 More Lives in Five Days: WHO

The number of deaths, caused by Ebola virus, has increased by more than 300 in five days, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported Wednesday. According to the situation report, released by WHO on Wednesday, "a total of 4,877 deaths have been reported." Moreover, "a total of 9,936 confirmed, probable, and suspected cases of Ebola virus disease have been reported in five affected countries (Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Spain, and the United States of America) and two previously affected countries (Nigeria and Senegal) up to the end of 19 October." As of October 14, the organization reported about 4,546 deaths and 9,191 virus cases.

Soldier Dies After Ottawa Shooting: Canadian Minister


The soldier, who was shot at Ottawa's National War Memorial, has died and a security guard has been wounded, Canada's Minister of Employment and Social Development Jason Kenney said Wednesday.

“Condolences to family of the soldier killed, & prayers for the Parliamentary guard wounded. Canada will not be terrorized or intimidated,” Kenney wrote on his Twitter account.
The soldier, who was standing guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, was shot by an unidentified gunman Wednesday morning. Canadian parliamentarian Bernard Trottier informed on his Twitter that the attacker had been shot and killed.

The existence of corruption among Hungarian officials can be proved with readily available information from numerous sources, Marie Harf, deputy spokesperson for the US State Department, said Wednesday.

"The entry bans [imposed by the United States against Hungarian officials] are based on a range of authoritative information concerning corruption in the Hungarian government, readily available from numerous sources, such as watchdog NGOs, whistleblowers, and a range of civil society groups charged with upholding government transparency," Harf said in a statement.
According to the deputy spokesperson, Hungary and the United states have "agreed to work together to address concerns about democracy [and] corruption".

I love Bill Cosby and I don't like it when people disrespect him. And that was exactly what comedian Hannibal Burruss did during his stand up comedy routine in Philadelphia some days ago. The Eric Andre Show co-host, refered to Bill Cosby as a rapist. What he told the crowd below.
"Bill Cosby has the f–ing smuggest old black man public persona that I hate. ‘Pull your pants up, black people. I was on TV in the '80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom.’ 
"Yeah, but you raped women, Bill Cosby. So, it brings you down a couple notches….I don't curse on stage. But yeah, you're a rapist.”

Military arraigns 5 Lance Corporals over mutiny

Five Lance Corporals of the Nigerian army were yesterday October 21st arraigned before a military court at the Army Headquarters Garrison, Mogadishu cantonment in Abuja over a two count charge of conspiracy to commit mutiny and mutiny.

Daily Trust reports that the soldiers are alleged to have committed the offenses in October 2013 after shooting into the air when they received the news of the death of some of their colleagues who were killed by Boko Haram in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.

Folly Coker denies ownership of Mavin Records


There have been reports online that Governor Fashola's aide Folly Coker is the real owner of Don Jazzy's record label, Mavin Records. Mr Coker has rubbished the tale, calling it crap! See the statement that was released today below...
"The gentleman described his alleged ownership of Mavin Records as the figment of the imagination of fantasts. In the last few days, the rumours of Folly Coker, being at the centre of the alleged troubled marriage of Tiwa Savage, 34, and Tunji Balogun, 36, flew around town with quite a few blogs and sites publishing the unsubstantiated claim.
But sources close to the tall and handsome son of Chief Folarin Coker have defended him as having nothing to do with Tiwa Savage and Mavin Records.
