Tayo Sobola popularly known in the Nigerian entertainment circle as Sotayo is not resting on her oars as she’s set to premiere her third self-produced movie, “Bella” on her birthday Sunday 28th December, 2014.

The star actress recently released her second movie “Corper Jide” which had turned into another blockbuster going by the high sales the movie has recorded.

Just in: President Goodluck Jonathan, Emir Sanusi reconcile

After nearly a year of bitter relations, President Goodluck Jonathan and the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, met Thursday in Abuja and reconciled differences that drove both men to the extremes of their offices.

Sanusi, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was fired by the president in February after accusing the  government of diverting $20 billion oil revenues.

It is sheer cowardice for a man of his stature to have remained in a political party to which he was openly disloyal merely out of fear of losing the position of Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives which he attained because he was of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.

Video: APC party members turns non-elective convention to street fight in Abuja

Some members of the Abia state chapter of the APC engaged in a fight at the extra-ordinary non-elective convention which held today October 29th at the old Parade Ground in Abuja. Based on reports,the fight broke out between two factions have been fighting for the chairmanship of the party inside their state. See video bellow.

Guy Scott (pictured above together with his wife and the Obamas) was sworn in today whilst the interim president of Zambia following a death of Zambian president Michael Sata yesterday Oct. 28th. This makes Mr Scott, who's of Scottish descent but born in Zambia, the initial white president in Africa since apartheid.

Guy Scott, 70, became vice-president of Zambia in 2011 and will serve as interim-president pending when the country holds fresh elections for a brand new president within 90 days. The Zambian constitution makes it to be impossible for Scott to be president because his parents weren't born in Zambia.

Family in serious problem after triplets' birth, struggling to pay clinic Bill

A woman who just gave birth to triplets is being held at the hospital over her family's inability for N150k bill. Sun News reports below...

A couple with five children was recently blessed with a set of triplets. The couple, now with eight kids – five boys and three girls – never envisaged going that far in child bearing. But since circumstance had made it so, Mr. & Mrs. Ifeani Benjamin Amadu, from Ukpo in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, have no option but to accept their fate.Mrs. Amadu told our correspondent that three months into her pregnancy, she had gone for scan only to be told that she was carrying three babies in her womb, a revelation that threw her into fright.

In 2010, newlywed British national Shrien Dewani and his 28 year old wife Anni Dewani were in South Africa for their honeymoon and while riding in a taxi in Cape Town on Nov. 13th, Anni was shot dead by two men who hijacked the taxi.
