The incident which occurred today Saturday, November 29, at 4.45pm, has no casualty recorded. The authority wishes to use this medium to reassure Nigerians that safety of the traveling public is still paramount and cannot be compromised.” the statement read…
Nigeria is the largest country in Africa. Out of the nearly one billion people of Africa, Nigeria accounts for over 170 million people of the continent.
That is nearly about twenty percent of the people of the continent. Nigeria got it independence in 1960. It is now fifty four years since our independence. Nigeria is fortunate as Nigerians did not fight for their independence. That was/is why Nigerians are/have not been appreciating independence and self rule.
It is unfortunate that despite many years of self rule, oil boom, and economic prosperity; due to corruption, and long years of military dictatorship, Nigerians have no sense of patriotism or nationalism in it. Tribal and regional inclinations have been dividing Nigerians for a very long time. Instead of Nigerians to unite against their common problems, they choose to remind divided.
The political class are enjoying this division to take advantage of Nigerians. Example, the consistent power (electricity) failure is not common to the north or south alone, even the south, the Yaruba’s, Igbo’s, and even Jonathan kinsmen the Ijaws are suffering from it. Instead of Nigerians to unite and pressure the government, the Ijaw’s will say Jonathan is their kinsman and they will not join other Nigerians in pressuring him. The .issing 20 billion dollars, is the money stolen against northerners alone? Is for all Nigerians.
Likewise the current insurgency in the north east. The money budgeted is for all Nigerians not just for people of the north east. Nigerians should unite against it. If one argues that Hausa Northerners are against President Jonathan and that is why the bombings, then why will they kill them selves? Why will there be a bomb blast in a mosque? Why will they do it in their own land?
The Nigerian masses are at the receiving end of Nigeria. They are at the mercy of those evil, devil nurtured, renegade, traitors and satanic politicians. They have enslaved us. They steal our money, we work for them as their securities, our parents as their drivers, our mothers as their nannies, sisters as their prostitutes, when are we living this useless life? Is that how Nigerians wants to end? Why don’t we fight a revolution; of the mind, against corruption, and to demand a better life? Our predecessors lived that life, we are living it, do we want our children to inherit this life? Woe unto Nigerians.
The 2015 general election is by the corner. Nigerians are still divided. What sort of people Nigerians are? Nigerians are becoming dumb, un learned, and the most un wise people in the world. With all this kind of killings, what will a muslim-muslim ticket will do to you? For those calling on Buhari-Fashola ticket as mainly muslims, how will that affect you? If Jonathan is fielding David Mark, if they are competent why don’t you go for them? The current government has failed and Jonathan should be blamed. This man is incompetent and a incapable. He does not even have a strategy nor did he have a sense of humor. Nigerians must rise above this nonsense and irrational inclination and choose leaders base on competence and ability to deliver. General Buhari himself has said that no body can Islamanize Nigeria, so will anybody be afraid?. Let me also say that no body can Christianize Nigeria. This is because Nigeria is a country for all not for a certain group.
Nigerians should swore and stay battled ready for 2015. Elections must be free, fair and credible. Elections must hold. Periodic election is the major feature of democracy as stated by Obasanjo. Elections must hold in the North, elections must hold in North east, elections must hold in Borno state, elections must hold in Gwoza local government. Jega should tell them again. Elections must hold. Our useless parliamentarians should know that Nigerians are resolute this time around. If the President can threaten the national assembly, let them know he cannot intimidate the people. This is our country, our dream, and our land.
I call on all Nigerians to emancipate themselves from the useless life style the are living now by voting the right leaders in 2015. Especially now that Nigeria is facing a very difficult time. Finance and Petroleum ministers should resign. They are agents of the west. Nigeria is for the masses and only them can design its fate. Arise o compatriots! Arise

The most obvious inclining subject in many parts of the world yesterday, including Nigeria, was Black Friday, the day following Thanksgiving where stores open early and cut costs of products to commence the Christmas shopping season.
In any case a gathering censuring the investment of blacks in the deals day say it originated from slavery.
Really? Below is what they wrote.
“This was the day after Thanksgiving when slave traders would sell slaves for a discount to assist plantation owners with more helpers for the upcoming winter (for cutting and stacking fire wood, winter proofing etc.), hence the name”
Cossy stepped out last night rocking a see-through black top & very short skirt.

I have three youngsters with my wife. Two of our kids are young ladies and the last who is only three years of age is a boy yet I have noticed that my wife treats him differently from his sisters.
She’s not persistent with him and smacks him at whatever point he does something wrong as opposed to revising him in a cherishing way like a mother ought to. She likewise converses with him brutally. On the off chance that I hadn’t seen her give birth to him, I would have thought he was adopted.
I have asked her multiple occassions for what good reason she treats him diversely however she says I am simply misrepresenting. I knew this was escaping from hand when I examined getting a cam to perceive how she treats him when I am not around. That is his mother not his babysitter so I shouldn’t be scared to leave him alone with her yet the miserable truth is that I am.
What would it be advisable for me to do?

“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. She openeth her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also praiseth her…” – Proverbs.
Chief (Mrs.) Olufunke Daniel, wife of former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has been described variously as kind hearted, fashionable, resourceful, intelligent and very beautiful. For her, greatness, nobility and personage are a perfect mix. She is indeed an exemplar of the ideal wife and an archetypal mother.
Born into the family Pa Samuel Ajibola Opawole and (Mrs.) Ibironke Opawole (Nee Osoba) on 27 November, 1963, she began to show, early in life, unmistakably signs of a woman destined to live in the dormitory of the kings. She demonstrates unequalled diligence at whatever she has to do and this quality did not only stand her out among her peers, it equally distinguished her in her academic career.
Yeye, as she is fondly called, had her post primary education at the Baptist High School, Iwo where she yielded to the discipline and the scripturally sound Baptist education which further moulded her vision of life and sharpen her mission of human existence. Etching her nibble footprints in the sands of time, the school authorities were quick to notice her leadership qualities as she was made the School’s games and athletic prefect in her final year. The Daniel’s love for sports still continues till date as manifested in the array of ‘keep-fit” gadgets available at the swimming pool side of their residence.
For someone who believes in the might of education, she enrolled at the school of Basic Sciences at the Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta for her Advanced levels course and later proceeded to the nation’s premier University, the University of Ibadan where she graduated in flying colours with a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Biology. At the University, the school authorities acknowledged her exemplary qualities and made her the Health Minister of Queen Elizabeth Hall in 1985.
After graduating from the ‘great UI.’, she served her fatherland through the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps programme. She thereafter worked with Lever Brothers (Nigeria) Limited and, after years of meritorious service, decided to go into private business. She then established Laurel Fashion, a high-riding outfit of which she is currently the Chief Executive Officer. Yeye also designs what her husband, OGD, wears. Hear her: ‘…I’ve always loved fashion. I design what I wear and what my husband wears too. I do all the designs in my shop…” Although fashionable by all standards, Chief (Mrs) Daniel has perfected the strategy of being fashionable in a non-gaudy and simple way – she loves good cloths and dressing well but she prefers wearing pearls and beads rather than gold.
Yeye Olufunke is personification of humility, a feature sometimes missing in some other women of achievements. As attested to by friends, staffers and domestic workers, they unanimously agreed that she is a paragon of virtue, unobtrusive and accommodating.
As an exemplar of the ideal wife and quintessential mother, little wonder that she loves her family most devotedly and passionately. “…My husband is my best friend and I love to be with my kids always…” she said during in an interview. For her, being a housewife has been very wonderful as it gave her the ample opportunities to take care of his husband and cater for the children. Despite the fact that there were good cooks at the government house during his husband’s reign as the governor, Yeye still finds her way to the kitchen which she revealed in an interview: “Let me point out clearly that there are still some delicacies he would want me to prepare for him. For example, he will never allow anybody to prepare his ‘Ikokore’ (Water yam porridge) and ‘Efo riro’ (Vegetable soup). So, I still go to kitchen to prepare his meal!”
Like Mama H.I.D. Awolowo, she accompanied OGD on his campaign efforts prior to 2003 election in Ogun State. Together, they visited all the 236 wards in Ogun State as she coordinated all the women groups in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). While in Office as the First Lady between 2003 and 2011, she touched the lives of many people most especially Ogun State indigenes through the activities of the Gateway Front Foundation – a socio-economic programme aimed at alleviating poverty in the society. The activities of the Gateway Front Foundation includes Micro-credit schemes, Free Medical Services, distribution of educational materials and trade empowerment tools and support for the physically challenged.
She is the matron of Webic Chior and holder of a number of chieftaincy titles among which is the Yeye Fesojoye of Ile Ife, Yeye Fehintade of Omu Ijebu, Yeye Obalofin of Ijebuland, Yeye Asoludero of Makun, Sagamu, Suada of Ifo, Yeye Atunluse of Ogbere and Yeye Akogun of Okun Owa.
At her leisure, she enjoys watching TV and ruminating on how to improve on whatever she does.
