A woman taking a connecting flight through Atlanta simply disappeared at the world's busiest airport. 


Anna Giannini has been missing since Sunday May 31st when she flew into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport but never reached her final destination, Atlanta police said.

Buhari made the submission in an address he delivered to members of the Nigerian community in Niger during his visit to the country. A copy of his speech was made available to journalists in Abuja by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu. Buhari told the Nigerian community that his government was just coming on board and was still in the process of setting out appropriate modalities on how to actualise its agenda of revamping Nigeria as contained in the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress.

Taking after the revelation by Aderemi Opadokun, the Commissioner of Police in Borno State that a suicide bimber yelled "Sai Buhari" as against "allahu akbar" as he executed five individuals after he exploded an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Senate members pass 46 bills in less than 10 minutes

24 hours to the end of their tenure, members of the Nigerian Senate passed 46 bills in less than 10 minutes, a situation best described as a 'historic moment'. The Senators will be ending their tenure as tomorrow June 4th to give rise to the 8th National Assembly.

At today's plenary session, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Ita Enang, announced all 46 bills before the house and then Senate President, David Mark, immediately called for votes on all the 46. He gave consent to all the "Ayess" which resulted in a rowdy session as those who were against the manner in which the bills were passed voiced their objection. The Senate President however told the aggrieved Senators to come tomorrow for consideration.
