Ooni Of Ife is not the Igbakeji of Oyinbo Jesus, See Why (Access to Information is Powerful)

To those who are supporting the Ooni of Ife, this is how the idea of divine right of kings works:

In the Yorubaland, Olodumare is the mythological father, and the Ooni Adimula is his vicar on earth.

In Ancient Egypt, Ausar (i.e. Osiris) was the mythological father. The SUN, personified by Heru (I.e. Horus), was Ausar’s visible manifestation on earth, and the pharaoh was Ausar’s vicar on earth.

In Ptolemaic Egypt, Serapis (i.e. Osiris + Apis bull) was the mythological father, and the Ptolemaic pharaoh was his vicar on earth.

In the Roman system, Jesus (i.e. an adaption of Serapis) was the mythological father. He was also his own visible manifestation on earth as the SUN, personified as the SON, and the Pope is his vicar on earth.

The Anglican system is the same as the Roman system except that the Queen is the vicar of Christ on earth.

In conclusion, the doctrine of divine right of kings is relative to one’s environment and culture. The Ooni of Ife is the Adimula Igbakeji Orisa n’la. The Ooni is not the Igbakeji of Oyinbo Jesus, for Oyinbo Jesus and Olodumare are not synonymous at all.

It’s Oba Ogunwusi’s prerogative to praise and worship whoever he wants but not in his capacity as the Ooni of Ife, the Arole Oduduwa.

We call upon all the Yoruba kingmakers to desist from enthroning intellectual infants as Obas.

The Ooni of Ife Regarded as "Igbakeji Orisa", disowns Orunmila, other Irunmoles (An Abomination ?)

According to Punch Publication, the new Ooni of Ife said, “I have no regrets whatsoever for kneeling down to exalt the almighty God who did not only create me, but also kept me alive, saw me through all the storms in my, life-journey and eventually crowned me as the custodian of Oodua race.”

Olodumare/Eledumare created heavens and Earth, sent Orunmila to creat Ile Ife (The Earth). The first Ooni of Ife and the rest were regarded as “Igbakeji Orisa“, the custodian of all Irunmoles and Oodua race according to Yoruba Mythology.

Lets break it down.

Irunmoles are depicted by the western civilization with small letter g (Lesser god to theirs, mainly Jesus). Just to make sure it’s not in the same line with their God. Jesus! The same way you will never hear them assign or use the word Chief to address any of their Kings or Queens but would rush to do that with African Kings.

So naturally Orumila = Jesus (Written as capital letter God as well but not the Almighty GOD of heavens and Earth but the one sent down to Earth just like Orunmila was sent down to Earth by Olodumare the GOD of heavens and earth in Yoruba Mythology)

“So please take note here that an Irunmole is in the same position as God. In Yoruba Civilization, an  Orisa is a messenger/son/daughter of Olodumare. He has direct link to the creator of heavens and earth (Olodumare is most high GOD) and the first Irunmole / God that created  Ile Ife (The Earth) is Orunmila and he brought Ifa  as guidance from the most high Olodumare (GOD) of heavens and Earth. Please also take note that Bible in western Civilization or Quran in Eastern Civilization is directly proportional to Ifa which has thousands of verses known as Odu or Odus “

Now what  does the New Ooni of Ife means when he says, “he’s the Custodian of Oodua race but not of Irunmoles/Gods/Orisas ?

Some would argue that  Real Yoruba Oba (king) doesn’t attend church just like King of Saudi Arabia and Emperor of Japan will never worship at any other place than Mosques and Temples respectively.

Queen of England is the head of Anglican church worldwide.  Ooni of Ife is the second  in command of all Olorisas worldwide and is regarded as Orisa himself whenever he puts on his Ade Ori (Crown).

Some also said, “there’s is no reason for Ooni to worship at any other place than the Shrines and Temples of Obatala, Oduduwa, Ogun, Orunmila and other numerous Irunmoles that descended at Oke-Ora, Ile-Ife.

“There should be no compromise on the part of the newly elect Ooni, the ADIMULA, the savior of the Yoruba race to attend any church or mosque. He must not compromise his mandate unless his dynasty has been conquered by the Queen, the head of the Anglican church.”

Is it an Abormination to be leader of Oodua race but not be the second in command of all the Inrumoles in Yoruba Mythology ?

"I'm the custodian of Oodua race but not of all the Irunmoles (Gods) in Yoruba land" - Ooni, After bowing to Jesus

As explained in a previous post about Ooni of Ife bowing to a foreign civilization instead of that of Yoruba Civilization which is not an abomination but may introduce a conflict of interest for an Ooni of Ife to ask for guidance (that is pray to Eledumare ALMIGHTY GOD/GOD of heavens and Earth) using any other religious ideologies other than meeting with a Baba’Alawo (Ifa Chief Priest) to consult Ifa for Guidance or going to the Shrine. Everything he needs is written in Ifa. All he needs to do is go to the nearest Baba’alawo to consult Ifa for guidance or what Ifa says.

There is a huge difference here between western religious ideology  Jesus/God  and Yoruba Orunmila/God. Also the most high GOD Almighty Olodumare.

In Yoruba civilization, Olodumare ( the GOD of heavens and earth) did not create what he could not control. i.e Satan

The foreign civilization, Jesus and GOD (of heavens and earth ) created Satan which obviously has no control and that is why satan has its followers on earth, meaning those that are doing bad things on earth are regarded as followers of Satan.

It was when the colonial master came,  they dis-informed the masses to thinking Esu is the same as Satan. No, there is a big difference between the two.  This is where the conflict of interest is. When Ooni claims he bowed down to the same Almighty Olodumare. It’s obviously not the same Olodumare (GOD of heavens and Earth)  Orunmila receieved Ifa as guisdance from back in the day.

It is a religious scam or propaganda to  equate Satan in the Bible to Esu.  The logic played by the colonial master is simple. You have an established model people are used to. Now to sell a new product or ideology to the group of people or race you need  to look for something to turn them against what they already have so you can successuly sell or market your own model or type of civilization. This is the trick behind the colonial masters equating  Satan in the Bible to Esu in Yoruba mythology. The simple truth is, Esu is not Satan.

See how it was reported by Punch after the page break.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has said he owed nobody any apology for kneeling to worship the almighty God during the thanksgiving service held in his honour at the Paul’s Anglican Church, Ife, after his coronation.

The Ooni, said this in statement made available to our correspondent in Osogbo on Thursday by the Director of Communication and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Ile Ife, Mr. Moses Olafare.

The monarch spoke in reaction to criticisims against him by an online medium Newspunch (Not The Punch) that he knelt down to worship God during the church service.

Ogunwusi said it was wrong to equate any king no matter his status with the almighty God who created the heavens and the earth, saying the comment was an attempt to embarrass the throne.

Ogunwusi said since the almighty God is not Ooni or any king’s mate he would not stop to worship and revere him because it was God who enthroned him.

The statement read, ” It is an unacceptable sacrilege to equate Ooni’risa or other king to the almighty God. God Is the creator of mankind and it is God that made it possible for the enthronment of any king.

“The attention of Ile Oodua has been drawn to a publication released Wednesday 16th 2015 by an online medium known as NEWSPUNCH in which His Imperial Majesty, Ooni’risa & Arole Oodua Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi(OjajaII) was crtisised for bowing to God.

“God remains the highest, the king of kings who has kept all kings alive and has made it possible for me to be crowned as the king of the source of Yoruba civilisation.

“I have no regrets whatsoever for kneeling down to exalt the almighty God who did not only create me, but also kept me alive, saw me through all the storms in my, life-journey and eventually crowned me as the custodian of Oodua race.

“This act of equating me to God of gods of king of kings and the sole owner of the universe is a wicked sacrilege planned to embarrass the throne. My emergence as Oba has been made possible only by the almighty Olodumare to whom I remain eternally grateful.”
