Russia may reconfigure its aerial task force and deploy the country’s only aircraft carrier The Admiral Kuznetsov to the Syrian coast, the author suggested. The deployment may take place in July.

A manufacturing company did the unusual when it sent emails to its staff to tell them that the enemy of the company had been captured. Those who were interested in its identity should proceed to the conference room. Those who went found a life sized coffin. Inside it was a big mirror. The message was not lost on the staff. They were, as they looked at themselves in the mirror, individually, and collectively, the enemies of the company.

Dilma out: Brazilian plutocracy sets 54mn votes on fire
by Pepe Escobar for Russia Today
Never in modern political history has it been so easy to “abolish the people” and simply erase 54 million votes cast in a free and fair presidential election.
Forget about hanging chads, as in Florida 2000. This is a day that will live in infamy all across the Global South – when what was one of its most dynamic democracies veered into a plutocratic regime, under a flimsy parliamentary/judicial veneer, with legal and constitutional guarantees now at the mercy of lowly comprador elites.
Stand up Ovation for the Father of propaganda: BBC calls NATO a Country
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36271074
NATO is now a country:
NATO is now a country:
“Russia has been flexing its military muscle near to Nato’s borders and the Alliance has responded by stepping up its own military exercises.”
“Russia has a track record of being misleading and worse – not least over its intervention in both Ukraine and Syria” What’s apparently worse is not mentioned -excellent propaganda technique.
I note though a few cracks in the deceptive writing -odd for the virulently russophobic BBC -still they forgot to mention this system has nothing to do with protecting anybody and everything to do with a US first strike attack on Russia -and defeating any defensive Russian missiles.

There is less talk about the rump-Ukraine in the news these days, especially in the western corporate media, and there is a good reason for that: that short-lived Urkonazi “Banderastan” is falling apart. This is hardly surprising since the entire concept was never viable in the first place. Let’s remember how it all began.

Comment by Dr. N.G. Maroudas
That classical concert Palmyra, with the sun shining on the golden stone of antiquity, celebrates the return of Syria to its normal civilized self. Once again Syria impresses the world by its ability to shrug off foreign Empires. A Yankee tourist wrote 150 years ago that everything in the USA was bigger and better than anything in the Middle East – except for Damascus, which awed him totally. From Mark Twain’s book, “The Yankees Abroad”:
