Police inspector rapes 15-year-old girl in Akwa Ibom

A police inspector attached to Mkpat Enin Police Division in Akwa Ibom State has allegedly raped a 15-year-old senior secondary pupil of Community Secondary School, at gunpoint, while she was returning from church on Thursday, last week, Punchng reports.

The victim explained that the inspector pointed his gun at her, saying if she tried to stop him from touching her he would shoot her. She said the officer then led her away from other members of the team to a dark portion of the road, forcefully caressed her breasts, saying “small you possess these type of breasts.”

Terror attack kills at least 82 people in Nice, France

Scores of people were killed last night when a large truck plowed through a Bastille Day crowd in Nice, France, in what is seen as a terror attack. The death toll grew through the night, with at least 80 people died. Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said 80 people were killed.. The driver first shot a gun into the crowd before driving 2km along the Promenade des Anglais, the main street in Nice, mowing down people who had gathered to watch fireworks.
