2015 elections in Benue will be deadly unless the illegal arms in circulation are withdrawn- DSS

The Department of State Security (DSS) in Benue State has stated that the forthcoming elections in their state could be bloody unless the illegal arms in circulation are withdrawn.

Based on the DSS, the amount of firearms in circulation in the state that has had numerous farmer-herder clashes recently, is scary and is dangerous to the 2015 elections. Deputy Director of the Service, Frank Obi, who spoke during a meeting organized by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Makurdi, said they have to address the problem to ensure a peaceful election next year.

“Nobody is worried about retrieving them. The arms are mostly in the possession of youths and must be totally mopped up in-order for next year’s elections not to be turned into a battle field.” he said.

A trader at Alaba International Market Ojo, Lawrence Ikonne has been arrested for allegedly killing a consumer, Isa Yaya over the price tag on his secondhand air conditioner.


In accordance with reports, the incident happened at Ikonne’s house at Afromedia Estate, Okokomaiko, Lagos where Ikonne had invited Yaya. When they got to the house, both of them went into a room to bring out the air conditioning equipment, and they started haggling over the price. Yaya allegedly insisted on purchasing the air conditioning equipment below N5, 000- an amount which didn’t go well with Ikonne. It resulted into a battle and Ikonne allegedly hit Yaya with a plank leading to his death.


During interrogation, the suspect said:

“I had not met the young man before. I met him that morning at the Alaba market, and asked him to buy one of my appliances: an air conditioner. He actually looked like a cart pusher. When we got home, we both went in to remove the product, and we brought it outside for negotiation. As we continued, he said he would pay less than N5, 000. I replied that he should assist me to return it to where we took it from, but he refused. In the process, we started fighting. He even asked me to pay him for helping me bring it out. I was mad, and I hit his belly with a plank. When I realised he had fainted, I tied him with a rope and dragged him into a corner. I also fled the house.”

It was one of Ikonne’s co-tenants who noticed Yaya’s tied up corpse, raised an alarm, and reported the case to the Okokomaiko police station.

Nigerian Scientist, Ejikeme Patrick Nwosu converts Urine Into Fuel

A NIGERIAN scientist has obtained a patent for his pioneer work in converting urine into flammable gases.   The breakthrough of Ejikeme Patrick Nwosu, 31-year-old, has raised the hope of the entire world in using urine to fix its energy crisis.

Nwosu got Patent No NG/P/20/2013/699 for developing a procedure for conversion of urine into hydrogen-ammonia rich flammable gases and fire resistant materials.

Nwosu, a graduate of Pure and Industrial Chemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (NAU), Anambra State with a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State, had claimed this technique could replace fossil fuel in the near future.

Also, Indian researchers are suffering from “The Urine Engine.” The research was published recently in OSR Journal Of Environmental Science, Toxicology And Food Technology by Yogendra G. Nandagaoli of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Rasika R. Kakade of the Department of E&TC, SGBAU, Amravati, India.

Local hunters kill over 70 Boko Haram insurgents, recapture Adamawa town

At least 75 Boko Haram militants were killed by local hunters in Maiha Local Government area of Adamawa State, residents of the area have said.

Maiha town, which is about 25 kilometers from Mubi town that was captured about two weeks ago, and about 200km from Yola the state capital, has now been recovered from the insurgents.

11 Years Old Nigerian Girl Pregnant For Mother’s Pastor In Iju Ishaga Lagos

A popular Lagos-based pastor is currently cooling off in jail for allegedly impregnating a minor.

The suspect identified as Solomon Eze was sent to prison for indecent assault on an 11-year-old girl at his church located in Iju Ishaga area of Lagos.

32-year-old Pastor Eze, a native of Eka in Delta State was alleged to have lured the mother of the victim away from her house and ordered her to move into his church to avoid the arrow of death.

The victim’s mother moved into Eze’s church (Hepzibah Assembly of all National Intl) located at 2 Arogbo Lane off Odunbaku street in Iju Ishaga.

The actor was killed by way of a stray bullet from robbers attempting to rob a bullion van in Asaba Delta state early last month. Clems Onyeka’s killers left his 3 young sons fatherless and turned his wife a widow. The armed robbery gang that robbed on DBS Road in Asaba were on the list of 15 robbery and kidnap suspects arrested in Asaba this week. Police recovered 2 AK 47 rifles and 56 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition from them. Investigation still ongoing.

In Nigeria, pastors and imams are busy demonizing natural goodies and indirectly telling my people to embrace western chemical poisons that will never cure but destroy them further.

Presently in Nigeria, if you use (red) beads you’ll be seen by some regitard as a ritualist (they don’t even bother to know if you are a chief). Now, just because I intended designing some wears with cowries, I’ve been accused of propagating juju worship.
