Police arrest 4 suspects of Ikorodu Bank robbery

Lagos state Police command have arrested 4 suspects in the Ikorodu Bank robbery that occurred on June 24th. The suspects were arrested in Ondo and Lagos state following a tip-off. They will be paraded at the state police headquarters in Ikeja tomorrow July 6th.

Lagos planning to reconstruct Ladipo market road – Govt

The Lagos State Government on Sunday indicated plans to reconstruct the popular Ladipo Auto Spare Parts Market Road and other connecting roads to enhance vehicular movement within the areas.

Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Bamgbose Martins, said this when he led government officials on inspection of some road networks in the Papa Ajao and Ladipo Spare Parts Market areas in Mushin and Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Areas of the state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it has nothing to do with the reported police’s invitation of Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, over which the PDP has released an outlandish statement containing all sorts of imaginary claims.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it neither wrote a petition to the police nor is it aware that any petition was written against the Deputy Senate President.

Yero left N228m, not N8bn in state’s account – El-Rufai

The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, on Sunday debunked claim by his  predecessor, Mukhtar Yero, that he (Yero) left behind N8bn in the state’s treasury.

The governor was reacting to claim by the former deputy governor, Amb. Nuhu Bajoga, at a reception organised for him by the Southern Kaduna’s Peoples Democratic Party penultimate Saturday that the immediate past administration in the state left N8bn for the current All Progressives Congress administration.

I labeled I’m sorry an easy hard statement. That oxymoron’ easy hard denotes two things one is that I’m sorry is a common and very easy statement, very easy to sing, very easy to pronounce. Two is that people find it difficult to say I’m sorry when they’ve offended other people.

Coach driver beaten & hurt by policeman along Lekki Toll Entrance (Photos)

Photos of the driver bellow bleeding, hit and scratched the vehicle of a police man called Azeez Adebayo, who as opposed to doing things the appropriate way, came down from his car and attacked the man. The bus driver was later rescued and given quick medical treatment.
