by Pepe Escobar for Sputnik International
Let’s cut to the chase; Hillary Clinton is ready to go to war against Russia in Syria – with inbuilt, potentially terrifying, thermonuclear consequences.
Anticipating an outcome of the US presidential election as a remix of the 1972 Nixon landslide, Hillary has also coined, George “Dubya” Bush-style, a remixed axis of evil: Russia, Iran and “the Assad regime”.

Every country has its history, except America that has a criminal record. SITREP by Scott

A day after I tried American food in the first time, I woke up covered in eczema, something I never had before. Thinking that I got infected with some horrible tropical disease during my flight, I went to see a doctor who explained to me that I had an allergic reaction to food and gave me some meds. The idea that one has to take meds to suppress immune system just to be able to eat poisonous food was bizarre to me. Any attempts to talk to other people about this were futile because they thought that it was weird that I found it bizarre.  For them it was “natural” to take meds just to have a slice of bread with butter and a chocolate candy. The majority of Americans have food allergies, they were saying. It’s not food allergy, I remember suggesting. It’s a reaction to poisonous substances in your food. Turned out I didn’t know what I was talking about because as they  informed me the American food was the best, cleanest and most healthiest in the world!

Wall Street: The Trump-China missing link

by Pepe Escobar for RT
The yuan is about to enter the IMF’s basket of reserve currencies this coming Saturday – alongside the US dollar, pound, euro and yen. This is no less than a geoeconomic earthquake.
Not only does this represent yet another step in China’s irresistible path towards economic primacy; the Chinese currency’s inclusion in the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket will also lead central banks and hyper-wealthy funds – especially from the US – to increasingly buy more Chinese assets.
At the first US presidential debate, Donald Trump took no prisoners, criticizing China’s currency manipulation. This is what he said:

In view of the total failure the US policy to regime-change Syria and overthrow Assad, the time has now come for the United States to make a fundamental choice: to negotiate or double down.
