This is indeed not the most effective times for koko master, and as a matter of fact this is the 1st time I’m hearing D’banj being in chaos over money.
Now a Technology company, MindHub Technologies is claiming D’banj is owing them the amount of $240,000,000 and another N15,000,000, that the artiste hasn’t denied but issued them post-dated cheques of bounced back.
MindHub Technologies who now speaks with D’banj through their lawyers in the end efforts made by them for him to pay proved abortive said D’banj has only deemed it fit since this past year to pay for only N8,600,000 from the N15,000,000 and hasn’t paid just one penny from the $240,000,000.
“We act as Solicitors to MINDHUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD (hereinafter called “OUR CLIENT”), and on whose instruction we write you this letter in the manner stated hereunder.
It’s our brief that sometime in January 2013 in Lagos, you signed a Personal Guarantee/Memorandum of Undertaking with this client wherein you agreed/undertook to pay for our client the investment fund of N100,000,000.00k (One Hundred Million Naira Only) directed at D KINGS MEDIA LIMITED by our client, if the latter default in payment of the debt. The said debt is composed of Nigerian and United States of America’s currencies,” the letter addressed to him stated.
The case is in a Lagos high court and due for hearing, why it’s been nearly impossible for months now to serve D’banj, because he’s been outside the nation, though some however claim the major reason D’banj has been around the US is because he doesn’t desire to be served.
